Magomed Musaev (born 11 March 1989) is a Russian-Kyrgyzstani heavyweight freestyle wrestler of Ingush origin. He competed at the 2012 and 2016 Olympics and placed seventh and ninth, respectively. Musaev won silver medals at the 2014 and 2018 Asian Games.

Musaev has degrees from the Kyrgyz State University of Physical Education and the Moscow Institute of Entrepreneurship and Law. [2] He took up Greco-Roman wrestling at age 14, and later changed to freestyle. [3]

Sushil Kumar is a former Indian wrestler and two-time Olympic medallist. His 2008 Olympic medal was only the second for India in wrestling, and the first since Khashaba Dadasaheb Jadhav's bronze medal at the 1952 Summer Olympics. In July 2009, he received the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna – India's highest honour for sportspersons. On 3 October 2010, Kumar handed the Queen's Baton to Prince Charles in the Queen's Baton Relay for the 2010 Commonwealth Games opening ceremony. Dilshod Mansurov is a male freestyle wrestler from Uzbekistan. He participated in Men's freestyle 55 kg at 2008 Summer Olympics. He earned 4th place after losing the bronze medal fight with Besik Kudukhov.

Serhat Balcı is a male sport wrestler from Turkey competing in the 96 kg division of freestyle wrestling. The 1.78 m tall athlete is a member of the Sancaktepe Belediye S.K. in Sancaktepe, Istanbul.

Magomed Kurugliyev is a Lezgin from Dagestan. He is a citizen of Kazakhstan. He was a wrestler who competed in the 1996 Summer Olympics, in the 2000 Summer Olympics, and in the 2004 Summer Olympics.

Punia is the only Indian wrestler to win four medals at the World Wrestling Championships.

Krasimir Simeonov Kochev is an amateur Bulgarian freestyle wrestler, who competed in the men's heavyweight category. Considered one of Bulgaria's top freestyle wrestlers in his decade, Kochev has claimed two career medals at the World Championships, picked up a bronze at the 2005 European Championships in Varna, and achieved top seventeen finishes in two editions of the Olympic Games. At the 2016 Olympics he beat former gold medalist Jordan Burroughs of the United States 11–1, but lost in the bronze-medal match to Jabrayil Hasanov of Azerbaijan. Amir Hossein Zare is an Iranian freestyle wrestler who currently competes in the heavyweight division. Zare became World Champion in 2021, and 2023. He was the 2019 U23 World Champion at age 18. He claimed a Tokyo Olympic Games bronze medal in 2021. In the age-group, he was the 2018 Cadet World Champion and claimed silver medals from the 2019 Junior World Championships and the 2018 Youth Summer Olympics.

Magomed Eldarovich Ramazanov is a Russian-born Bulgarian freestyle wrestler of Avar heritage who competes at 86 kilograms. Representing Bulgaria at the 2024 Summer Olympics, Ramazanov claimed the gold medal at the event. Before transferring to Bulgaria in 2024, he was a European silver medalist and a three-time Russian National medalist.
