Mahesh Vaman Manjrekar is an Indian actor, film director, screenwriter and producer who works primarily in Hindi films, alongside Marathi, Telugu and Bhojpuri films. He is credited with directing the critically acclaimed films Vaastav: The Reality (1999), Astitva (2000) and Viruddh... Family Comes First (2005). He has won a National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Marathi for Astitva and two Star Screen Awards. He is also known as host of the reality show, Bigg Boss Marathi since 2018.

Ravindra Jadhav known professionally as Ravi Jadhav is an Indian film director, actor, screenwriter and producer. He made his directorial debut with the Marathi musical drama Natarang in 2010. Ravi studied in Sir J.J Institute of Applied art and won the 2009 National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Marathi.
Adinath Kothare is an Indian actor, producer, and director, who predominantly works in Marathi films. His directorial debut film, 'Paani,' won the 'National Film Award for Best Film on Environment Conservation/Preservation' at the 66th National Film Awards and also won him the 'Best Actor' award at the New York Indian Film Festival. His father, Mahesh Kothare, is a veteran film director of Marathi films.

Dhum Dhadaka is a 1985 Indian Marathi-language comedy buddy film directed and produced by Mahesh Kothare under the production banner of Jenma Films International. The film was released in Maharashtra on 19 August 1985 and stars an ensemble cast of Ashok Saraf, Mahesh Kothare, Laxmikant Berde, Nivedita Joshi, Surekha Rane, Prema Kiran and Sharad Talwalkar. The film is a remake of the Tamil movie Kadhalikka Neramillai (1964), which was also remade earlier in Telugu as Preminchi Choodu (1965), in Hindi as Pyar Kiye Jaa (1966) and in Kannada as Preethi Madu Thamashe Nodu (1979).
Arjun Sarja is an Indian actor, producer and director who works predominantly in Tamil cinema and he also established his career in Telugu and Kannada cinema apart from a few Hindi and Malayalam films. He debuted as a child actor in the film Simhada Mari Sainya in the year 1981. Sarja had acted in more than 160 movies. He has directed 12 films and also produced and distributed a number of films. After starring in numerous Kannada films with minor roles, he starred in his first movie as an independent actor in Male Bantu Male. In 1984, Sarja made his Tamil Debut in Rama Narayanan's film Nandri. Mulshi Pattern is a 2018 Indian Marathi-language action crime film directed by Pravin Tarde and produced by Abhijeet Bhosale, Genuine Production and Punit Balan Entertainment. The film stars Om Bhutkar, Pravin Tarde, Mohan Joshi, Upendra Limaye. The film is based on events that happened in Mulshi, Pune and portrays the hardships faced by farmers and their links to the criminal world. The film was released on 23 November 2018. A Hindi-language remake of the film released on 26 November 2021, titled Antim: The Final Truth.
Vaidehi Parashurami is an Indian actress. She made her debut with Mahesh Kothare's movie Ved Lavi Jeeva in 2010.
Sarsenapati Hambirrao is an Indian Marathi-language historical war film written and directed by Pravin Tarde and produced by Sandeep Mohite Patil, Saujanya Nikam and Darmendra Bora under banner of Urvita Productions. The film stars Pravin Tarde, Gashmeer Mahajani, Mohan Joshi in lead roles. The film is based on life of Military Commander of Maratha Empire Hambirrao Mohite. The film released worldwide on 27 May 2022.
Punit Balan is an Indian film producer and owner of several sporting teams. He owns Pune Jaguars (tennis), Mumbai Khiladis and Maharashtra Ironmen (handball), Kolhapur Tuskers (Cricket), Bengaluru Smashers, Mumbai Muscle. Balan has also provided sponsorship money to several players.
Jaggu Ani Juliet is a 2023 Indian Marathi-language romantic comedy film directed by Mahesh Limaye. It is produced by Punit Balan Studios. The film stars Amey Wagh, Vaidehi Parashurami in leading roles. The film was theatrically released on 10 February 2023.
The Filmfare Marathi Best Director Award is one of the main awards presented given by the annual Filmfare Marathi Awards to recognise directors working in Marathi cinema. It was first presented in 1975.
