Mahendra Ray Yadav is a Nepali politician,former minister and a member of the House of Representatives of the federal parliament of Nepal. [2] He is the current central committee chairman of Nepal Socialist Party.
He was elected under the first-past-the-post system from Sarlahi-2 constituency,representing Rastriya Janata Party Nepal. In the 2013 Nepalese Constituent Assembly election,he defeated his nearest rival,Rajendra Mahato of Sadbhawana Party,acquiring 11,534 votes to the latter's 8,790. [3]
As of March 2017,he was leading Tarai Madhes Sadbhawana Party in the legislature parliament as party chairman. [4] [5] Following the formation of Rastriya Janata Party Nepal,he was one of the six members of the party presidium. [6] He became the coordinator of the chairman council on 20 January 2019,taking over from Rajendra Mahato. [7] [8]

The Rastriya Prajatantra Party is a constitutional monarchist and Hindu nationalist political party in Nepal.
Upendra Yadav is a Nepalese politician who has twice served as Deputy Prime Minister of Nepal and also served as the chairman of the People's Socialist Party,Nepal from 2020 until 2023.
The Terai Madhesh Loktantrik Party was a political party in Nepal,formed by former Minister and Nepali Congress national treasurer Mahantha Thakur. The party was once the biggest Madhesh-based party with a strong base in the Terai region of Nepal. The foundation of the party was announced on December 27,2007. The party was founded by Thakur with a popular slogan "Mare to Mukti,jiye to Madhesh" meaning if I will live,I will fight for Madhesh and if I will get salvation. The 2021 split in the People's Socialist Party,Nepal (PSP-N) was a factional dispute amongst the leadership over party control beginning in May and culminating in July,with the faction led by former Deputy Prime Minister Upendra Yadav succeeding over the faction of former First Chairman Mahantha Thakur. The dispute was settled as a result of a decision of the Election Commission,which handed control to Yadav's faction,forcing the departure of the Thakur faction from the PSP-N and requiring the formation of a new party.
The Second Federal Parliament of Nepal,was elected by the 2022 general elections on 20 November 2022. The elections elected 275 Members of Parliament (MPs),165 for each constituency and 110 through the party list,to the House of Representatives. The parliament convened for the first time on 9 January 2023.
