Malachi Moore (born September 13, 2001) is an American professional football safety for the New York Jets of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Alabama Crimson Tide and was selected by the Jets in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL draft.
Moore attended Hewitt-Trussville High School in Trussville, Alabama. [1] He played both cornerback and safety in high school. As a senior, he had 80 tackles and four interceptions. [2] He was selected to play in the 2020 All-American Bowl. Moore committed to the University of Alabama to play college football. [3] [4]
Moore became a starter during his true freshman year at Alabama in 2020. [5] [6]
