Maladera tumida is a species of beetle of the family Scarabaeidae. [2] It is found in India (Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand), Nepal and Pakistan. [3]
Adults reach a length of about 10–12.8 mm. They have a dark brown, oval body. The upper surface is mostly dull and glabrous, except for the lateral cilia of the pronotum and elytra. [4]
The species name is derived from Latin tumidus (meaning swollen). [4]
