Abdul Rahman Mahmood, better known as Man Kidal [1] is a Malaysian guitarist, songwriter and record producer. He got the title of "Kidal" because he plays guitar with his left hand. He was the founder and lead guitarist of the group Lefthanded a until it broke up in 1984. He then joined Down Wheels, and this group was reactivated as Lefthanded [2] in 1986.
Man Kidal started play guitar when he was 10 years old. Since then, he started playing guitar seriously until he successfully formed a music group called Lefthanded as the lead guitarist and leader of the group. He and two other musicians received the "Anugerah İkon Seni" award on 4 October 2025. [3]
