This is the discography of Apple Records, a record label formed by the Beatles in 1968. During its early years, the label enjoyed a fair degree of commercial success, most notably with Mary Hopkin and Badfinger, as well as discovering acts such as James Taylor and Billy Preston who would go on to greater success with other labels. However, by the mid-1970s, Apple had become little more than an outlet for the Beatles' solo recordings. After EMI's contract with the Beatles ended in 1976, the Apple label was finally wound up. The label was reactivated in the 1990s with many of the original Apple albums being reissued on compact disc, and the company now oversees new Beatles releases such as the Anthology and 1 albums as well as the 2009 Beatles remastering programme. In 2010, Apple set about remastering and reissuing its back catalogue for a second time.
A double album is an audio album that spans two units of the primary medium in which it is sold, typically either records or compact disc. A double album is usually, though not always, released as such because the recording is longer than the capacity of the medium. Recording artists often think of double albums as being a single piece artistically; however, there are exceptions, such as John Lennon's Some Time in New York City and OutKast's Speakerboxxx/The Love Below . Since the advent of the compact disc, albums are sometimes released with a bonus disc featuring additional material as a supplement to the main album, with live tracks, studio out-takes, cut songs, or older unreleased material. One innovation was the inclusion of a DVD of related material with a compact disc, such as video related to the album or DVD-Audio versions of the same recordings. Some such discs were also released on a two-sided format called DualDisc.
Onobox is a 1992 comprehensive 6-disc collection of Yoko Ono's work from 1968 to 1985. The discs are grouped by era and theme. Disc one centers around the albums Fly and Yoko Ono/Plastic Ono Band, while Disc two features nearly the entirety of Approximately Infinite Universe in a different running order and most of the tracks remixed exclusively for this boxed set. Disc three features the entire Feeling the Space project, which was originally conceived and recorded as a double album before being edited down, while disc six is the previously unreleased 1974 album A Story, which was later reissued separately with an expanded track listing, along with the rest of Ono's back catalogue.

Lost Sides is a compilation album by the band Doves. The original incarnation of Lost Sides was a promotional-only CD released in 2001, and only featured the B-sides from the singles taken from the band's debut album Lost Souls. The commercial edition of Lost Sides was released with a revised track listing in September 2003 as a single CD and as a limited edition double disc set. The first disc contains B-sides from Doves' first two albums, whilst the second disc features remixed material. The 2003 issue coincided with the band's first DVD release Where We're Calling From.
The International P.E.A.C.E. Benefit Compilation, commonly referred to as the P.E.A.C.E. compilation, retitled in 1997 as P.E.A.C.E./War, by combining the legends on its front and back cover, for its reissue on CD, is a compilation double album first released in 1984 by R Radical Records, the label run by MDC frontman Dave Dictor, in association with San Francisco Bay Area punk fanzine Maximumrocknroll. The "P.E.A.C.E." in the album title is a backronym for "Peace, Energy, Action, Cooperation, Evolution".
Mentallo and the Fixer is the project name used by Texan electro-industrial musicians Gary Dassing (Mentallo) and Dwayne Dassing from 1988 to 1999, and by Gary Dassing alone from 1999 to the present day. The band has several releases on the American record label, Metropolis Records. They are named after two Marvel Comics characters.
Farewell: Live from the Universal Amphitheatre, Halloween 1995 is a double live album and home video release by American new wave band Oingo Boingo, documenting their final concerts and ending on Halloween night of 1995. The band played a series of five nights, ending on Halloween night by playing more than 44 songs during a 4-hour set that went past midnight. As with all of their live shows, the setlist included songs from across the band's large discography, many of which were given new arrangements.
Slaves Shall Serve is the fifth EP by Polish extreme metal band Behemoth. The first four tracks were recorded during the Demigod studio sessions at Hendrix Studios during July and August in 2004. The last two tracks were recorded live at the Sweden Rock Festival in 2005.
The Golden Hare with a Voice of Silver is a double compilation album by British experimental music group Coil, released in October 2002 by their vanity label Eskaton and distributed via World Serpent Distribution. It compiles two Russian compilation albums released by Feelee Records in 2001, A Guide for Beginners: The Voice of Silver and A Guide for Finishers: Golden Hair, with the former being disc one and the latter being disc two, respectively.
Brap: Back & Forth Series 3 & 4 is a compilation album by industrial band Skinny Puppy. It was released as a double-CD in 1996. This album reached to #9 in Billboard chart's Top Heatseekers. Disc one is largely instrumental demos whereas Disc two is composed mainly of live cuts. The cover art was created by Dave McKean. The CD also features enhanced CD content including a 3D style VR interface based on the Too Dark Park album and a virtual walk through the art of the Spasmolytic single.
Sessions is a cancelled compilation album of previously unreleased tracks by English rock band the Beatles, planned for release by EMI in 1985 but never issued officially, due to objections by the surviving Beatles. The album consists of 13 finished but unreleased Beatles songs. A planned single containing two of the tracks from Sessions – "Leave My Kitten Alone", backed with an alternative version of "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da" – was also left unissued. The idea was resurrected in 1995 as the greatly expanded three-volume double CDs The Beatles Anthology with an accompanying six-hour documentary.
Retrospective is a double-disc compilation of Red House Painters' songs from the band's 4AD era. The compilation was released in July 1999. Disc one is a collection of definitive Red House Painters tracks culled from their debut album Down Colorful Hill through 1995's Ocean Beach, as picked by 4AD label owner Ivo Watts-Russell. Disc two, subtitled Demos, Outtakes, Live (1989-1995), is a collection of unreleased demos and live recordings from their 4AD years. The essay inside the booklet was written by Rob O'Connor in April 1999. A working title for this collection was Red Perspective.
Condensed Hamsters (1990) is a Hamsters album that was originally released only as an audio cassette compilation of the four original cassette only albums that were only available from the band's gigs. They never received a national distribution. Eventually the band stopped producing the tape albums, including this compilation, when their CD releases started to become popular.
Back from the Grave is a series compilation albums of 1960s garage rock created and compiled by Tim Warren and released by Crypt Records. The series originally consisted of eight LP records released between 1983 and 1992. Volumes seven and eight were double albums. Starting in 1994, the series was reissued on compact disc. Due to the longer playing times offered by CDs, the first seven volumes were contained on four discs, save for a few tracks that were omitted. And, while all of the songs on the first four CDs are included on first seven vinyl albums, they do not necessarily correspond to the individual LPs bearing their same titles. However, the Volume 8 CD corresponds almost directly its LP double-LP counterpart, but with the addition of four bonus tracks not included on the LP. The eight vinyl albums are titled consecutively "Back from the Grave, Volume 1, Volume 2, Volume 3, Volume 4, Volume 5, Volume 6, Volume 7, Volume 8, Volume 9, and Voume 10". In similar fashion the five CDs are titled "Back from the Grave, Volume 1, Volume 2, Volume 3, Volume 4, Volume 8, and Volumes 9 & 10". There are no volumes 5, 6, or 7 for the CDs. Two separate LPs for Volume 9 and 10 were released in 2015 as well one CD, released the same year, which combines Volumes 9 and 10 onto one double-length disc.

Blues Anytime: An Anthology of British Blues is a series of compilation albums featuring tracks from various British blues artists. Three volumes were released by Immediate Records in 1968, followed by Blues Leftovers in 1969.
20 Years of Dischord is a three-disc box set compiled by Washington-based record label Dischord Records to commemorate its 20th anniversary.
The Genesis of Slade is a compilation album of pre-Slade era recordings by British rock band Slade. It was first released in 1996 by The Music Corporation and was later re-issued by Cherry Red in 2000.
Dreams of Eschaton is a double-CD compilation album by American heavy metal band Manilla Road. It was released on June 2, 2016 in both CD and LP format on High Roller Records and features a reissue of the Mark of the Beast album on the first disc along with both the 1979 demo Manilla Road Underground and the 1979 in-studio live After Midnight Live album on the second disc. The name of the compilation refers to the original title of what would become the Mark of the Beast album, released in 2002 but with most of its featured tracks recorded in 1981.
