Gummadi Venkateswara Rao, known mononymously by his surname Gummadi, was an Indian actor and producer, who worked predominantly in Telugu cinema and a few Tamil films. Known as one of the finest supporting/character actors in Telugu cinema, Gummadi acted in around five hundred feature films. He received critical recognition for his work in Thodu Dongalu (1954) and Mahamantri Timmarusu (1962), for which he received the erstwhile Rashtrapati Award. Gummadi was an official member of the Indian delegation from South India to the Tashkent Film Festival in 1978 and 1982.

Tadinada Varaprasad popularly known as Nutan Prasad was an Indian actor who worked predominantly in Telugu cinema and Telugu theatre. He was a native of Kaikaluru, Andhra Pradesh, India. He started his film acting career in the early 1970s, and has received four state Nandi Awards. He died due to prolonged illness at the age of 65.

Khaidi No. 786 is a 1988 Indian Telugu-language film, starring Chiranjeevi, Bhanupriya, Suthivelu, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Mohan Babu, Nutan Prasad and Kaikala Satyanarayana. The film was directed by Vijaya Bapineedu. It is the second film in Chiranjeevi's successful Khaidi trilogy. He wrote stories for several acclaimed films, including Karthika Deepam. The "Dr. M Prabhakara Reddy Chalana Chitra Karmika Chitrapuri" in Manikonda, Hyderabad is named in honor of him. He won four Nandi Awards.

Chakravarthy is a 1987 Indian Telugu-language film, directed by Ravi Raja Pinisetty and produced by Kodali Venkateswara Rao. The film stars Chiranjeevi, Mohan Babu, Bhanupriya and Ramya Krishna. The film had a musical score by Chakravarthy. It was released on 4 June 1987.

Draupadi is a 1931 sound film from Indian cinema. The film was a big-budget mythological production from Ardeshir Irani's Imperial Film Company following their release of the first talkie in India, Alam Ara (1931). It was directed by Bhagwati Prasad Mishra, who had made a name for himself as a photographer and painter and had worked with Irani in his Star, Majestic, Royal and Imperial Studios. The story adaptation from Vyasa's Mahabharata and the screenplay, were by Mishra. The star cast included Prithviraj Kapoor who played the role of Arjuna, with Ermeline as Draupadi, and Khalil as Krishna. The rest of cast included Hadi, Elizer, Rustom Irani and Jilloobai. The cinematographer was Adi Irani.

Dharma Teja is a 1988 Indian Telugu-language film directed by Perala and produced by Sainath. It stars Krishnam Raju, Sharada, Radhika and Vani Viswanath. The music was composed by Vidyasagar. The film was a remake of Tamil film Poonthotta Kaavalkaaran.

<i>Khaidi Kannayya</i> 1962 film directed by B. Vittalacharya

Khaidi Kannayya is a 1962 Indian Telugu-language crime film directed by B. Vittalacharya and produced by Pothina Doondeswara Rao. It is a remake of the Hindi film Qaidi No. 911 (1959) and its Tamil version Kaithi Kannayiram (1960). The film stars Kanta Rao, Rajanala, Gummadi, Relangi, Rajasulochana and Girija. It was released on 1 March 1962, and became a success.
