Manja ("pampered" in English) was a Malay-language entertainment and lifestyle magazine that is published monthly in Singapore by Mediacorp. It was launched in conjunction with Singapore's first Malay channel, Mediacorp Suria on 30 January 2000 to complement each other through the different media platform. [1] The last edition of magazine was published in December 2016. [2]

CNA is an English-language news channel based in Singapore. It broadcasts free-to-air domestically and as a subscription network to 29 territories across Asia and Australia.

Adrian Pang Yeow Soon is a Malaysian-born Singapore former actor, host, and contracted artiste under FLY Entertainment and prominently a full-time Mediacorp artiste from 1990 to 2010. He first came to prominence in Singaporean television by acting in some English-language and Chinese-language television dramas produced by MediaCorp and SPH MediaWorks in the 1990s. Since then, he has diversified into hosting and theatre production. More recently, he had a small role in the Hollywood cybercrime movie Blackhat (2015), starring Chris Hemsworth and Wang Lee Hom. In 2010, Pang announced that after his current artiste contract with Mediacorp expires in March, he will experimentally leave Mediacorp.

SPH has over 4,000 employees, including a team of approximately 1,000 journalists, including correspondents operating around the world. The company was one of the country's "blue-chip" counters on the Singapore Exchange, and is a constituent of the Straits Times Index. This will no longer be the case from 22 June 2020.

She was among the first Malaysian professional women writers and best known for her 1960 novel Hari Mana Bulan Mana. Femininity, women's issues, and Islam are recurring themes in her work.

Bhumiband

Bhumiband is an independent Singaporean Malay band. Formed in 2003, the band consists of lead singers Ard and Awi Rafael, pianist and keyboardist Hang Dimas, drummer Zuher, lead guitarist Athif, bassist Kif, and percussionist Eddy. The band's lineup has remained static during its history, with the only exceptions of the departure of guitarist and co-songwriter Nazri, Ard and Kif in 2005. Hang Dimas would later join the band Hujan in 2008. Awi Rafael also has a successful solo career after Bhumiband. Irfan and Reamie both become official members in 2016.

Kampong Bahru Bus Terminal (Chinese:甘榜峇鲁路巴士终站) is a bus terminal in Singapore. It is situated along Spooner Road off Kampong Bahru Road in Bukit Merah, and is located near Outram Community Hospital, as well as the Singapore General Hospital.

Asmah Laili first woman television announcer in Singapore

Asmah Laili was a radio producer, and television presenter in Singapore, who also became famous for her programs and publications on Malay cuisine.
