Manly Surf n Slide re-opened in December 2016 after spending over $150k to upgrade what was the former Manly Waterworks. The Manly Waterworks was a water park in Manly, New South Wales, Australia. It was operated jointly with the Mount Druitt Waterworks and Cairns Waterworks, surviving after the later two became defunct. [1]
Manly Surf n Slide features in the movie BMX Bandits starring Nicole Kidman during which an escape is staged in one of the waterslides. [2]

Adventure World is a theme park in Bibra Lake, a suburb of Perth, Western Australia. The park opened on 11 November 1982 as "Adventureworld at Bibra Lakes", and is open annually from spring through autumn, for seven months, undergoing a winter closure each year. Adventure World is just a 15-minute drive from Fremantle, and roughly 25 minutes from Perth city centre, located roughly 20 kilometres (12 mi) from the city’s main central business district. Being just 14.16 hectares in size, park management has enacted a self-imposed maximum capacity for daily visitors, varying slightly each season, though usually between 4,000 and 5,000 guests. When capacity is reached, the park’s gates will potentially close for safety and security reasons.
Camelbeach Outdoor Waterpark is a water park located in the Poconos in Tannersville, Pennsylvania at Big Pocono State Park. Opened in 1998, it is the summer operation for Camelback Resort, which is a skiing and snowboard resort during the winter.

Mount Druitt Waterworks was a water park in Mount Druitt, New South Wales, Australia. It was opened in 1981 and initially was very successful, however in later years costly upgrades and declining sales forced the park to close in 1994. It was operated jointly with the Manly Waterworks (1981) which remains open, and Cairns Waterworks (1980). It was located at Stout Road, Mount Druitt, near the foot bridge on the northern side of the railway lines.

Wild Rapids Waterslide Park was located on the shores of Sylvan Lake in the resort town of Sylvan Lake, Alberta, Canada. Wild Rapids opened to the public in 1982, and it was Alberta's second-largest water park after the World Waterpark in West Edmonton Mall. Wild Rapids Waterslide was one of five waterslide parks in Alberta, and the last outdoor water park to operate until it closed in 2016. The park contained 12 slides, many small pools, three hot tubs, and a children's water playground. The park closed at the end of the 2016 season, after operating for 34 years. The park was located near Red Deer, between Edmonton and Calgary, along Alberta Highway 11A. Wild Rapids was the largest water park of its kind in western Canada.
Hangzhou Bay Sunac Tourism City is a theme park and entertainment complex under construction in Jiaxing, Zhejiang, China, about 45 miles from downtown Shanghai. It was announced by the Six Flags Entertainment Corporation in 2015 as part of the company's bid to open multiple parks in China. In February 2020, Six Flags dropped out of the project when their partner, Riverside Investment Group, encountered was unable to meet their financial obligations. In June 2020, Sunac China Holdings took over the project and opened the Sunac Water Park in June 2021. The complex is projected to open in stages, with the rebranded Sunac Land theme park to open in 2024, and the rest of the project to be completed by 2025. However, construction delays may postpone the openings.
