Kaalbela is a 2009 Bengali film directed by Goutam Ghose. The film stars Parambrata Chatterjee, Paoli Dam, Soumitra Chatterjee and Santu Mukherjee. Hemlock Society is an Indian Bengali romantic dark comedy released on 22 June 2012, directed by Srijit Mukherji, who is also the director of Autograph and Baishe Srabon. The film's cast consists of Parambrata Chatterjee, Koel Mallick, and Soumitra Chatterjee. The name is inspired by the erstwhile Hemlock Society, a society which was based in Santa Monica, US. The primary missions of this society included providing information to dying persons and supporting legislation permitting physician-assisted suicide. The movie was remade in Marathi in 2015 as Welcome Zindagi. A box-office success.

Feluda is an Indian-Bengali detective media franchise created by Indian-Bengali film director and writer Satyajit Ray, featuring the character, Feluda. The titular character is a private investigator starring in a series of Bengali novels and short stories. The detective resides at 21 Rajani Sen Road, Ballygunge, Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Jawker Dhan is a Bengali action adventure film of 2017 directed by Sayantan Ghosal. This movie was based on the adventure story of Bimal-Kumar duos of Hemendra Kumar Roy in the same name. In 1939, another Bengali film Jakher Dhan was made by director Haricharan Bhanja starring Ahindra Choudhury, Chhaya Devi and Jahar Ganguly. Tangra Blues is a 2021 Indian Bengali language musical-thriller film directed by Supriyo Sen for producers Shree Venkatesh Films. Starring Parambrata Chatterjee and Madhumita Sarcar, the film revolves around music-maker Joyee and a music band leader Sanjib Mondal. It was released on 15 April 2021, coinciding with Bangla Noboborsho.

Habji Gabji is a 2022 Indian Bengali-language techno-thriller film written and directed by Raj Chakraborty. The film is jointly produced by Raj Chakraborty and Shyam Agarwal under the banners of Raj Chakraborty Entertainment and Srijan Arts respectively. The film is based on effects of online gaming on children and youth. The film features Subhashree Ganguly, Parambrata Chatterjee and Samontak Dyuti Maitra as lead characters.
