Manoj Pant is an Indian expert in International Trade. Presently, a visiting professor at Shiv Nadar University, [1] he served as the Director of Indian Institute of Foreign Trade from 2017-2022. [2] Prior to that, he was a full-time professor at the Centre for International Trade and Development, Jawaharlal Nehru University, where he taught international trade theory. Before that he taught economics at Delhi University. [3]
Pant has obtained his undergraduate degrees from St. Stephen's College, Delhi and his master's degree from Delhi School of Economics. He has done his Ph.D. at Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas, USA. [3]
Pant used to be a regular newspaper contributor writing for The Economic Times on trade, investment and competition issues. [4] He has published two books and over a dozen articles.

Prabhat Patnaik is an Indian Marxian economist and political commentator. Riyaz Punjabi was a professor and vice chancellor at the University of Kashmir. He was granted the Padma Shri, one of India's highest civilian awards, in 2011. He also won the Amity Academic Excellence Award from Amity International Business School, in 2009, the Fazil Memorial Award in 2009, and the Adbi Markaz Kamraz award in 2010. He died on April 8, 2021.

At present Dr. Kashyap is an honorary research professor at the Centre for Policy Research (CPR), New Delhi. He was also a member of the National Commission to Review the Working of Constitution and chairman of its drafting and editorial committee.
Mahendra P. Lama is an Indian professor and a development economist who was the pro-vice chancellor of IGNOU and the founding vice chancellor of Sikkim University in India. At the age of 45, he became the youngest vice chancellor of a National Central University in India. He is presently a senior Professor in the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi; Chief Economic Adviser in the Government of Sikkim and Member of the Eminent Persons Group on Nepal-India Relations appointed by the Prime Ministers of India and Nepal.

The School of International Studies is an academic institution created in 1955 which merged with the Jawaharlal Nehru University in 1970. It was founded by Pandit Hriday Nath Kunzru, Prof. A.Appadorai and Professor M.S. Rajan, under the auspices of the Indian Council of World Affairs. In the 15 years of its existence, it came to be noted as the leading institute of research in the area of International Relations and Area Studies in India. Sudhir Kumar Sopory is an Indian educationist, plant physiologist, scientist and former vice chancellor of Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He is known to be the first to purify a protein kinase C activity from plants and is credited with the identification of topoisomerase as a substrate of protein kinase C. He is an elected Fellow of several major Indian science academies and The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) and is a recipient of many honours, including the 1987 Shanti Swarup Bhatangar Prize, the highest Indian award in the science and technology categories. The Government of India awarded him the fourth highest civilian honour of the Padma Shri, in 2007, for his contributions to science and technology.
Alok Bhattacharya is an Indian parasitologist, academic and a professor at the School of Life Sciences of the Jawaharlal Nehru University. He chairs the Biotechnology Information System Network (BITSNET) as well as the Life Sciences Expert Committee of FIST program of the Department of Science and Technology (DST). He is an elected fellow of the Indian Academy of Sciences and the Indian National Science Academy and is known for his studies on Entamoeba histolytica and species-specific calcium binding protein and its gene.

Rattan Lal Hangloo is an Indian academician and historian. He is formerly a professor and the head of the history department at the University of Hyderabad. He served as vice-chancellor of the University of Allahabad and University of Kalyani. Born from a Pandit family in the scenic Kashmir region of India, Rattan Lal Hangloo completed his postgraduate studies at the University of Kashmir in Srinagar and the Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi. After completing his post-doctoral studies, he worked at the University of Kashmir, the North Eastern Hill University, the University of Hyderabad, and the Central University of Punjab. He also served as a teaching faculty in several other universities outside India. Presently, he is an Honorary Vice Chancellor at the Noble International University He also wrote a number of historical books. Professor Rattan Lal Hangloo has provided his expertise on topics such as the Nature of the State, agrarian economy, society and technology, political conflict and Material culture of Kashmir and other Himalayan communities.
