Mansi Junction railway station (station code:- MNE) is a railway station in the Sonpur railway division of East Central Railway. [1] [2] Mansi Station is located in Khagaria district in the Indian state of Bihar. More than 80 trains pass through this station. [3]

The West Central Railway, one of the 18 zones of the Indian Railways, came into existence on 1 April 2003. It is headquartered at Jabalpur. Kolkata Suburban Railway Rail system in Kolkata, India

The Kolkata Suburban Railway is a suburban rail system serving the Kolkata metropolitan area and its surroundings in India. It is the largest suburban railway network in the country with the highest number of stations. It is also the 7th largest suburban rail system in the world. There are six main lines and nineteen branch lines. The suburban railway operates more than 1,500 services, carrying 3.5 million people daily and 1.2 billion people every year. It runs from 03:00 am until 02:00 am and the fares range from Rs.5 to Rs.25. The system uses 25 kV 50 Hz AC power supply and runs on 5 ft 6 in broad gauge track. It has interchange stations with the Kolkata Metro at various locations.

Rail transport in Madhya Pradesh

Rail transport in Madhya Pradesh began in the year 1867 when Allahabad–Jabalpur branch line was opened in June 1867. The Etarsi to Jabalpur section was opened on 7 March 1870 by GIPR, linking up with EIR track at Jabalpur from Allahabad, and establishing connectivity between Mumbai and Kolkata. In 1903, with the introduction of Delhi-Chennai rail route through the state and Bhopal Junction railway station, the state got a good rail connectivity. Presently major portion of the state's rail connectivity is provided by the railway zone called West Central Railway.

Danapur Railway Station or Danapur Junction, station code DNR, is a large railway station and headquarters of Danapur railway division of East Central Railway. Danapur is connected to metropolitan areas of India by the Delhi–Kolkata main line via Mughalsarai–Patna route. It is in Khagaul city about 6 km from Danapur Cantonment, in Patna district in the Indian state of Bihar.

The Carriage Repair Workshop, Harnaut provides bogie maintenance services for India's East Central Railway. According to Indian Railways's rules, coaches require preventive maintenance every eighteen months. The facility employs 1,000 and handles fifty units each month.

Hyderabad railway division

Bihar Sharif Junction railway station, station code BEHS, is a railway station under Danapur railway division of East Central Railway. Bihar sharif is connected to metropolitan areas of India, by the Delhi–Kolkata main line via Mughalsarai–Patna route. Station is located in Bihar Sharif city in Nalanda district in the Indian state of Bihar. Due to its location on the Bakhtiyarpur–Tilaiya line, many trains from Patna and other cities via Bakhtiyarpur Junction, and trains coming from Rajgir and Gaya Junction stops here. The station is named after local freedom fighter and Congress politician Umeshwar Prasad.
