Marc Fusco is an American film director, screenwriter and film editor known for Stealing Time , My Uncle Rafael , and The Samuel Project .
Fusco was born to Nicola Fusco, [1] an Italian immigrant, and Jane Fusco, [2] and grew up in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Hempfield High School in 1989 [3] and Pennsylvania State University in 1993. After working as production assistant at Amblin Entertainment, Fusco was handpicked by Steven Spielberg to work closely as the director’s personal assistant in 1997. [4] [5] [6] For over five years, he assisted the Spielberg on the films The Lost World: Jurassic Park , Amistad, Saving Private Ryan [2] and also during the start-up of DreamWorks SKG—the first full-fledged studio to be created in over eighty years. During his tenure with Spielberg, Fusco and co-writer Chris Perkins sold the screenplay The Reel Killers to Dreamworks, the true story of the last silent movie theater in the world and its owner who was murdered by a gay, hustling serial killer. Fusco also directed the short film The Interview that premiered at the 1998 Venice International Film Festival. Notable films Fusco has edited include the suspense film Burn starring Josh Hutcherson and Suki Waterhouse, Confession starring Michael Ironside, the vampire horror-comedy Slayers starring Thomas Jane and Abigail Breslin, Dig starring Emile Hirsch and Thomas Jane, and The Samuel Project starring Hal Linden and Ryan Ochoa. In 2012, My Uncle Rafael was released theatrically [8] [9] in five markets and still holds the Pacific Theaters record for most sold out shows in a row, amassing over $250,000 on only four screens.[ citation needed ] Prior to My Uncle Rafael, Fusco directed and co-wrote the Stealing Time , a film he said took about five years to complete. In 2016, Fusco co-founded the Drive Hope Foundation with the mission to expand the minds of underserved youth to consider careers outside of their own difficult circumstances.[ citation needed ] He was engaged to guitarist Malina Moye in 2017. [11] By 2018, The Samuel Project was purchased for worldwide distribution. The film was released theatrically in over 80 cities from 2018–2019 through the theatrical distribution company in8 Releasing that Fusco co-founded in 2018. [12]
In 2020, Fusco launched a new production and film services company Nico Nazar Creative with filmmaker, actor, and playwright Vahik Pirhamzei.[ citation needed ] The company has worked on films starring Robert Dinero, Dustin Hoffman, Thomas Jane, Emile Hirsch, Malin Akerman, Abigail Breslin with clients such as MGM, Highland Film Group, Arclight Films, Saban Entertainment, Bondit Media, Saban Entertainment, Film Mode Entertainment, and Screen Media Films.

Steven Allan Spielberg is an American filmmaker. Hook is a 1991 American fantasy adventure film directed by Steven Spielberg and written by James V. Hart and Malia Scotch Marmo. He is best known as the puppeteer and voice of the title character on the sitcom ALF, for which he also served as creator, writer, producer, and director. He formed the production company Alien Productions with Tom Patchett and Bernie Brillstein.
Malina Moye is an American singer-songwriter, lefty guitarist, model, actress, and entrepreneur, who fuses pop, rock, and soul. As a lefty, Moye draws comparisons to Jimi Hendrix, but plays her guitars flipped upside-down like Albert King. Moye founded WCE Records in 2004. Fender guitars recognizes Moye as one of their first African-American left-handed upside-down female endorsee to join the Fender family. Moye's fourth album Dirty was released worldwide on March 17, 2023, to critical acclaim landing on top of the Billboard Blues chart marking Moye's eighth appearance on the chart. Dirty was also voted into the top five of Guitar World Magazine's Best Guitar Albums of 2023 list. Malina's third studio album Bad as I Wanna Be was released March 23, 2018, reaching number one for two weeks straight on the Billboard Blues chart and landed on Billboard's Heatseakers Album Chart at number 19. Parade Magazine declared "Moye has proven herself once again as an über talented, electric guitar powerhouse." The song "Enough" premiered on Minnesota's KCMP The Current 89.3, an NPR station, and is also featured in the film The Samuel Project. Rolling Stone France gave the album four stars stating that "Moye perfectly blends, Blues, Funk, Rock and Pop."

The cartoon character, Casper the Friendly Ghost who appears in numerous cartoon shorts as well as Harvey Comics publication, has appeared in five films since his inception, most of which were either released in television or straight-to-video while only one was released theatrically. Many for the most part are unrelated to each other. Like in the comics and animated shorts, the films feature Casper, a ghost of a deceased child, who refused to frighten others and would like nothing more than to be friendly around the world, due to the nature of what he appears to be, it would often get him shunned by whoever he encounters, but along the way, he would find and befriend a certain someone he could identify himself with, and would often help that someone in need.
