Maria Fricioiu (later Simion, born 16 March 1960) is a retired Romanian rower. Competing in coxed fours she won an Olympic gold medal in 1984 and three medals at the world championships in 1979, 1983 and 1985. [2] [3]

Daniela Druncea is a Romanian rowing coxswain and retired artistic gymnast. As a gymnast, she is a world bronze medalist with the team and was an alternate to the 2008 Romanian Olympic team. As a rower, she won a bronze medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics.

She won three bronze medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships, one each in the K-1 500 m (1983), the K-2 500 m (1981), and the K-4 500 m (1983) events. Maria Magdalena Dumitrache is a Romanian rower, who won gold at the 2000 Summer Olympics. She first competed as an elite rower at the 1998 World Rowing Championships where she came fifth with the women's four, and won gold with the women's eight. She retained the world championship title at the 1999 World Rowing Championships. She retired after competing in a 2001 World Rowing Cup race.
