Transport in Poland involves air,water,road and rail transportation. The country has a large network of municipal public transport,such as buses,trams and the metro. As a country located at the 'cross-roads' of Europe,Poland,with its highly developed economy,is a nation with a large and increasingly modern network of transport infrastructure.
The Masovian Voivodeship,also known as the Mazovia Province,is a voivodeship (province) in east-central Poland,with its capital located in the city of Warsaw,which also serves as the capital of the country. The voivodeship has an area of 35,579 square kilometres (13,737 sq mi) and,as of 2019,a population of 5,411,446,making it the largest and most populated voivodeship of Poland. Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship,also known as Cuiavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship,Kujawy-Pomerania Province,or simply Kujawsko-Pomorskie,is one of the 16 voivodeships (provinces) into which Poland is divided. It was created on 1 January 1999 and is situated in mid-northern Poland,on the boundary between the two historic regions from which it takes its name:Kuyavia and Pomerania. Its two chief cities,serving as the province's joint capitals,are Bydgoszcz and Toruń.
Pabianice is a city in central Poland with 63,023 inhabitants (2021). Situated in the ŁódźVoivodeship,it is the capital of Pabianice County. It lies about 10 kilometres southwest of Łódźand belongs to the metropolitan area of that city. It is the third largest city in the ŁódźVoivodeship by population. The area of the city covers 32.9 square kilometres (12.7 sq mi) being the 10th largest in ŁódźVoivodeship.

Danuta Maria Hübner,née Młynarska is a Polish politician and Diplomat and Economist and Member of the European Parliament. She has served as European Commissioner for Regional Policy from 22 November 2004 until 4 July 2009,when she resigned to become a Member of European Parliament for the Civic Platform. In 2012,Professor Hübner became a member of the International Honorary Council of the European Academy of Diplomacy.
Warsaw Commuter Railway is a light rail commuter line in Poland's capital city of Warsaw. The line,together with its two branches,links Warsaw with the municipalities of Michałowice,Pruszków,Brwinów,Podkowa Leśna,Milanówek and Grodzisk Mazowiecki to the south-west of Warsaw.
Zbigniew Krzysztof Kuźmiuk is a Polish politician and Member of the European Parliament (MEP) for Masovian Voivodeship with the Law and Justice party,part of the European Conservatives and Reformists and sits on the European Parliament's Committee on Budgets. The history of rail transport in Poland dates back to the first half of the 19th century when railways were built under Prussian,Russian,and Austrian rule. Of course,"divided Poland" in the 19th century was the territory of the former Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth and not that one of today's Republic of Poland. After Polish independence was declared on 11 November 1918,the independent Polish state administered its own railways until control was surrendered to German and Soviet occupiers during World War II.
Ewa Bożena Kopacz is a Polish politician who has served as a Vice-President of the European Parliament since 2019. She previously was Marshal of the Sejm from 2011 to 2014,the first woman to hold the office,as well as Prime Minister of Poland from 2014 to 2015. In addition,Kopacz was Minister of Health from 2007 until 2011. Since 2001,she has been a member of Civic Platform,which she chaired from 2014 to 2016. Kopacz succeeded Donald Tusk as Prime Minister,becoming the second woman to hold the office after Hanna Suchocka (1992–1993). Her term as Prime Minister ended on 16 November 2015,when she was succeeded by Beata Szydło.
Krzysztof Józef Tchórzewski is a Polish engineer and politician. He serves as the Minister of Energy in the cabinet of Beata Szydło. Prior to this,Tchórzewski was a minister without portfolio.

High-speed rail service commenced in Poland on 14 December 2014,with the introduction of 20 non-tilting Pendolino trainsets operating on 4 designated lines radiating out from Warsaw. Polish State Railways started passenger service trains PKP Pendolino operating a speed 200 km/h on 80 km line Olszamowice-Zawiercie. From December 2017 there are two 200 km/h sections,136 km long in total. Polish state railways PKP launched the high-speed service under the Express Intercity Premium (EIP) brand name.
The Grodzisk Mazowiecki–Zawiercie railway better known as the Central Rail Line,designated by Polish national railway infrastructure manager PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe as rail line number 4,is a 224 km (139 mi) long railway line in Poland between Zawiercie outside the Upper Silesian Metropolitan Area and Grodzisk Mazowiecki in the suburbs of Warsaw.
