Mariya Tikhvinskaya (born 24 February 1970) is a Russian snowboarder. She competed in the women's parallel giant slalom event at the 2002 Winter Olympics. [1]

Maria Grozdeva Bulgarian sport shooter

Maria Zdravkova Grozdeva is a Bulgarian sport shooter, concentrating on both 25 metre pistol and 10 metre air pistol. She is the only woman to have successfully defended 25 metre pistol title at the Olympic Games. Apart from her five Olympic medals including two gold medals, she also has been successful at CISM World Championships and ISSF World Cups. She is also the current holder of the final world record in 25 metre pistol. Grozdeva was born in Sofia.

Mariya Igorevna Gromova is a former Russian competitor in synchronized swimming and a triple Olympic champion and now presenter for Channel One.

Both stages of the women's 25 metre pistol competition at the 2000 Summer Olympics were held on 22 September, and the final was fired at 14:00 Australian Eastern Standard Time (UTC+10). After having lost only one point in the precision stage, Tao Luna set a new Olympic record of 590 points in the qualification round, but lost the final to Mariya Grozdeva, who won on a new Olympic final record of 690.3.

Women's 10 metre air pistol was one of the fifteen shooting events at the 1996 Summer Olympics. Olga Klochneva won the event on a new Olympic record, and the defending champion, Marina Logvinenko, completed the Russian double by defeating Mariya Grozdeva in a shoot-off for the silver medal.
