Javagal Srinath, is a former Indian cricketer and currently an ICC match referee. He is considered among India's finest fast bowlers,and was the first Indian fast bowler to take more than 300 wickets in One Day Internationals. With India,Srinath was a member of the Indian team that was the joint-winners of the 2002 ICC Champions Trophy,a title they shared with Sri Lanka,and was a member of the team that were runners-up in the 2003 Cricket World Cup.

Hampshire County Cricket Club is one of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Hampshire. Hampshire teams formed by earlier organisations,principally the Hambledon Club,always had first-class status and the same applied to the county club when it was founded in 1863. Because of poor performances for several seasons until 1885,Hampshire then lost its status for nine seasons until it was invited into the County Championship in 1895,since when the team have played in every top-level domestic cricket competition in England. Hampshire originally played at the Antelope Ground,Southampton until 1885 when they relocated to the County Ground,Southampton until 2000,before moving to the purpose-built Rose Bowl in West End,which is in the Borough of Eastleigh. The club has twice won the County Championship,in the 1961 and 1973 seasons.
Christopher Timothy Tremlett is a former English cricketer who played international cricket for England and domestically for Hampshire and Surrey. He was a 6 feet 7 inches (2.01 m) tall fast-medium bowler able to extract bounce on most surfaces. Tremlett started his playing career with Hampshire in 2000 and was awarded his county cap in 2004. He made his One Day International debut in 2005,and two years later played his first Test. Tremlett played three Tests in 2007 before injury interrupted.
David Andrew Griffiths is an English former cricketer who played at first-class level for Hampshire and Kent County Cricket Clubs in a professional playing career which spanned from 2006 to 2016. Playing as a right-arm fast bowler,he took over 100 wickets in first-class cricket.
James Cullum Tredwell is an English former international cricketer. A left-handed batsman and a right-arm off break bowler,he played his domestic cricket for Kent County Cricket Club and was appointed as County Captain for the 2013 season. He made his debut for Kent in the 2001 season,nine days before his first appearance for England Under-19s. He often fielded at slip. May's Bounty is a cricket ground situated along Bounty Road in Basingstoke,Hampshire,England. The ground is compact and is lined on all sides by trees,with its northern side overlooked by residential housing. The Bounty was used intermittently by Hampshire County Cricket Club in the early 20th-century,before Hampshire began to play there annually from 1966 to 2000. The ground is owned by the Basingstoke Sports and Social Club and is used in club cricket by Basingstoke and North Hants Cricket Club. The ground has a capacity for major matches of 2,500,while its end names are called the Town End to the north and the Castlefield End to the south.

David John Halfyard was an English professional cricketer who played first-class cricket for Kent County Cricket Club and Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club between 1956 and 1970. He was primarily a bowler and took nearly 1,000 wickets during his first-class career. He also played Minor County cricket for Northumberland,Durham and Cornwall. Following a road traffic accident in 1962,Halfyard retired from cricket to become an umpire but was able to return to the game in 1968.
Reece James William Topley is an English international cricketer who plays for the England cricket team in white ball cricket as a left-arm fast medium bowler. He plays for Surrey in domestic cricket. Topley debuted for England in August 2015 against Australia,and represented the team at both the 2016 ICC World Twenty20 and 2023 Cricket World Cup. He plays for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League.
Adam Paul Rouse is a Zimbabwean-born English former professional cricketer. Rouse played as a right-handed batsman who fielded as a wicket-keeper,although he was considered versatile enough to play solely as a specialist batsman. Rouse played for England at under-19 level and made his first-class debut in 2013 for Hampshire County Cricket Club. He played for Gloucestershire in 2014 before joining Kent County Cricket Club ahead of the 2016 season. He retired from professional cricket at the start of the 2020 season.
In 2014,Kent County Cricket Club competed in Division Two of the County Championship,Group B of the 50-over Royal London One-Day Cup and the South Group of the NatWest t20 Blast. Kent also hosted a first-class match at the St Lawrence Ground against Loughborough MCCU at the start of the season. It was the third season in charge for head coach Jimmy Adams. The club captain was former England batsmen Rob Key,who resumed the captaincy after James Tredwell had spent one season in the role. Australia bowler Doug Bollinger signed for the club for the 2014 season. Other new additions to the squad included fast bowlers Mitchell Claydon –who had a load spell with Kent in 2013 –from Durham,David Griffiths from Hampshire and former Kent player Robbie Joseph.
In 2013,Kent County Cricket Club competed in Division Two of the County Championship,Group A of the 40-over Yorkshire Bank 40 and the South Group of the Friends Life t20. Kent also hosted a first-class match at the St Lawrence Ground against Cardiff MCCU at the start of the season and a T20 match against the touring New Zealanders in June. It was the second season in charge for head coach Jimmy Adams. The club captain was England spinner James Tredwell,taking over from Rob Key who had been club captain since 2006. Brendan Nash registered as a Kolpak player,ending his West Indies international career,which allowed Kent to sign another overseas player. South African fast bowler Vernon Philander filled this role,although he was only with the club for a short spell in July. Another new addition to the squad was 22-year-old Calum Haggett from Somerset. Shortly before the end of the season,Kent signed two young fast bowlers:Charlie Hartley and Matt Hunn. In addition,Mitchell Claydon joined on loan from Durham on 11 June initially for one month,but this was extended for a second month.

The season was the fifth,and last,in charge for head coach Jimmy Adams and the first for new club captain Sam Northeast,who took over from Robert Key at the end of the 2015 season,having captained the side on the field for much of the season.
Matthew Edward Milnes is an English professional cricketer who currently plays for Yorkshire County Cricket Club,having moved from Kent at the end of the 2018 season. Milnes was born in Nottingham and grew up in the city and attended West Bridgford School in the city before going to Durham University. A seam bowler,he was part of the Nottinghamshire Academy programme before making his first-class cricket debut in April 2014 for Durham MCC University against Derbyshire. He received a Half-Palatinate for his cricketing activities at university.
