Marriott Indianapolis is a high-rise hotel in Indianapolis, Indiana. It was completed in 2001 and has 19 floors. It was the largest hotel in Indiana, until surpassed by the JW Marriott Indianapolis in 2011. The Indianapolis Marriott Downtown features 650 guest rooms and 40,000 square feet (3,700 m2) of meeting/event space spread over 33 rooms. Located inside the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown are the Champions Sports Bar and the Circle City Bar and Grille. The Circle City Bar and Grille's lounge is rated by its guests to be among the top 20 lobby bars for food quality and service in Marriott Convention hotels according to Marriotts internal Guest Satisfaction Survey. The new JW Marriott Indianapolis is part of the $450 million Marriott Place, consisting of five Marriott hotels all connected to the Indiana Convention Center. The City of Indianapolis contributed $48 million to the project. The hotel is 34 floors and 376 feet (115 m) tall, making it the 7th-tallest building in Indianapolis and tallest hotel in Indiana. The hotel has 1,005 guest rooms. The facility also has a 950 space underground parking garage. It is the third-largest JW Marriott hotel in the world based on its 1,005 guest rooms, and is owned and managed by White Lodging. It is the eight-tallest building in the state of Indiana.

The Bethel A.M.E. Church, known in its early years as Indianapolis Station or the Vermont Street Church, is a historic African Methodist Episcopal Church in Indianapolis, Indiana. Organized in 1836, it is the city's oldest African-American congregation. The three-story church on West Vermont Street dates to 1869 and was added to the National Register in 1991. The surrounding neighborhood, once the heart of downtown Indianapolis's African American community, significantly changed with post-World War II urban development that included new hotels, apartments, office space, museums, and the Indiana University–Purdue University at Indianapolis campus. In 2016 the congregation sold their deteriorating church, which will be used in a future commercial development. The congregation intends to erect a new Bethel AME Church on Zionsville Road in Pike Township, Marion County, Indiana.

Marriott Downtown at City Creek Hotel formerly Salt Lake City Marriott Downtown is a Marriott International run hotel located in the City Creek Center on 75 South West Temple Street, Salt Lake City Utah United States. The hotel was opened in 1981 and in 2008 underwent a name change and a multimillion-dollar renovation as a result of the city creek development. The hotel is one of only a few buildings that were built prior to the development of City Creek Center.
