The Hilton Indianapolis Hotel & Suites is a hotel in Indianapolis, Indiana. The structure was completed as an office building in 1971 and converted to a hotel in 2000. It has 18 floors with a total of 332 rooms. [2] The Hilton was formerly the tallest hotel in the city; the JW Marriott Indianapolis surpassed it when it was completed in 2011.
The location was formerly the site of the Traction Terminal Building, a covered depot for the interurban lines in Indianapolis. A 9-story office building adjoined the depot. [1]
The hotel is built of structural concrete with a limestone facade. The building was originally constructed in 1971 as the headquarters of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Indiana (now Anthem), which vacated the building in the 1990s. It was refurbished into a hotel and opened as an Adam's Mark hotel in May 2000. In August 2004 it was rebranded as a Hilton. [1]
According to the Indianapolis Business Journal , the Hilton Indianapolis was last renovated in 2017. As of 2020, two dining options were located in the hotel, including 120 West Bar & Grill and McCormick & Schmick's. [3]

Salesforce Tower is the tallest building in the U.S. state of Indiana. Opening in 1990, it surpassed the AUL Tower in Indianapolis for the distinction. The building's twin spires' are 811 feet (247 m) tall, while the 48 floors of office and retail space and 2 building equipment floors above that peak at the 701-foot (214 m) roof. It is the regional headquarters of Salesforce, which moved into the tower in the late-2010s and currently occupies a large amount of space in the building. While the tower has two spires of equal height, only one of them is functional as a transmission antenna. The other mast is merely an architectural decoration. The building was designed by KlingStubbins, and built by Indianapolis-based Huber Hunt & Nichols.

The Hilton San Francisco Union Square is a skyscraper hotel located several blocks south-west of Union Square in San Francisco, California. Opened in 1964, the 18-story, 1200-room original building was known as a "motel within a hotel", allowing guests to park directly next to their upper-story rooms. Filling an entire city block, it remains one of the tallest structures representing Brutalist architecture, though it has been extensively altered since its construction. A second 46-story tower was added in 1971, while a third smaller 23-story connecting tower was completed in 1987. Renovated in 2017, it is the largest hotel on the West Coast, with 1,921 rooms.
Phoenix Plaza is a mixed use office complex located in midtown Phoenix, Arizona. It was built between 1988 and 1990 at a cost of US$158 million. There is 1,600,000 square feet (150,000 m2) of office space plus 225 hotel rooms. Phoenix Plaza has three hi-rise office buildings, a large parking garage and a hotel tower. Two distinct design concepts can be seen. The façades of CenturyLink Tower, the parking structure and Hilton Suites are colored in the late 1980s design trend of combining the pastel hues of “dusty rose” with turquoise. Phoenix Plaza Towers One and Two are sleek, modern, highly polished and complement the desert inspired buildings, which share their site. The architect for the buildings was Langdon Wilson and Phoenix Plaza was developed by the Koll Company and BetaWest Properties, Inc.
One Wells Fargo Center is a 588-foot (179 m) skyscraper in Charlotte, North Carolina and is the headquarters for Wells Fargo's east coast division but will leave the building by the end of 2023. Opening on September 14, 1988, it was the tallest building in North Carolina, until 1992 when it was surpassed by the Bank of America Corporate Center. The building consists of 42 floors, a connected 22-story Hilton Hotel, YMCA, parking garage, plaza, and is connected to Two Wells Fargo Center via skybridge, as part of the Overstreet Mall.
707 17th Street, formerly known as the MCI Building and Arco Tower, and now known as the Jacobs Building is a skyscraper in Denver, Colorado. The building was completed in 1981, and rises 42 floors and 522 feet (159 m) in height. The building stands as the seventh-tallest building in Denver as of 2018. It also stood as the tallest building in the city at the time of its 1981 completion, and held that distinction for two years until it was surpassed by the 709-foot (216 m) 1801 California Street in 1983.
JW Marriott Indianapolis is a hotel in downtown Indianapolis, adjacent to the Indiana Convention Center. The new JW Marriott Indianapolis is part of the $450 million Marriott Place, consisting of five Marriott hotels all connected to the Indiana Convention Center. The City of Indianapolis contributed $48 million to the project. The hotel is 34 floors and 376 feet (115 m) tall, making it the 7th-tallest building in Indianapolis and tallest hotel in Indiana. The facility also has a 950 space underground parking garage. It is the largest JW Marriott hotel in the United States based on its 1,013 guest rooms and is owned and managed by White Lodging.
BMO Plaza, formerly the M&I Plaza, is a high-rise office building located at 135 North Pennsylvania Street in Indianapolis, Indiana. It was completed in 1988 and is currently the sixth-tallest building in the city, at 401 ft (122 m) with 31 stories. It is primarily used for office space. At 432,300 square feet (40,160 m2), BMO Plaza is the ninth-largest office building downtown, according to IBJ statistics. Tenants include BMO Harris Bank, U.S. Department of Defense, and General Electric Capital Services.

It was the largest hotel in Indiana until surpassed by the JW Marriott Indianapolis in 2011. The Indianapolis Marriott Downtown features 650 guest rooms and 40,000 square feet (3,700 m2) of meeting/event space spread over 33 rooms.

Tucker Company led numerous developments in downtown Indianapolis in the 1960s and 70's including Market Square Arena, the Hilton Indianapolis, and Merchants Plaza. In 2002, a Real Trends survey listed F.C. Tucker as the 12th largest regional brand in the United States.
