The 220 Meridian, formerly known as the AT&T 220 Building, is a 23-floor high rise located at 220 North Meridian Street in Indianapolis, Indiana. [1] It was completed in 1974 when it served as the headquarters of Indiana Bell. [2] [3]

Contents

It is connected with the 22-story AT&T Building, located just to the north at 240 North Meridian Street, and both buildings housed the Indiana headquarters for AT&T. The AT&T 220 Building was sold to Cleveland-based Geis Properties in 2013 for $16.5 million.

In 2017, the building was purchased by Keystone Realty Group which has proposed spending $80 million to convert it to mixed-use with restaurants, office space, apartments, and parking. [4]

The building has won several awards including the AIA Indiana design award, Citation award. [5]

Developed by Wright Runstad & Company, construction began in 1986 and finished in 1988. 1201 Third Avenue was designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates and The McKinley Architects. The building was the world headquarters of the financial company Washington Mutual from the building's opening until 2006, when the company moved across the street to the WaMu Center.

300 North Meridian is a high rise in Indianapolis, Indiana. Construction started in 1987, financed by Browning Investments. The architects, Haldeman Miller Bregman Hamann, built the outside with brownish-reddish granite and black windows, and capped the skyscraper with a copper-colored dome. Only the eastern side rises to the full height of the building; the northern and southern sides rise in a staircase shape toward the east. The architects intended 300 North Meridian's design to echo the adjacent Chamber of Commerce building. It was completed in 1989 and is currently the fifth-tallest building in the city.

Opus Place is an under construction development in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Located in Midtown Atlanta, the development is currently expected to consist of a large residential high-rise, called No. 2 Opus Place, and possibly a smaller tower. Upon its completion, No. 2 Opus Place would be among the tallest buildings in Atlanta and the tallest residential building in the city. The project was first developed in 2014, but underwent a significant alteration in 2016.
