The second season of the American competitive reality television series MasterChef had a two-night premiere on Fox on June 6 and 7, 2011. [1]
The season concluded on August 16, 2011, with former Miss USA contestant Jennifer Behm as the winner, and Adrien Nieto as the runner-up. Unlike the previous winner, Behm's prize did not include a cookbook deal. [2]

The third season of MasterChef Canada originally aired on February 14, 2016 and concluded on June 19. Filming began in September 2015 and ended in November 2015. Torontonian Mary Berg won this season to become the first female winner of MasterChef Canada. Following her victory, Berg pursued her passion for food through catering, confections, recipe development and as a cooking expert on CTV's Your Morning, The Social, and The Marilyn Denis Show. Berg also guest starred in episodes of seasons four, five and seven. She has since hosted her own original cooking television shows, Mary's Kitchen Crush (2019-2020) and Mary Makes It Easy (2021–present) for CTV and CTV Life Channel. Berg also hosts The Good Stuff with Mary Berg, a daytime talk show on CTV.

The season was won by English teacher Gerron Hurt, with professional grocery shopper Ashley Mincey and high school teacher Cesar Cano as co-runners-up.
The fifth season of MasterChef Canada originally aired on April 3, 2018, on CTV and concluded on June 19. Filming began in September 2017 and ended in November 2017. Sherwood Park resident Beccy Stables won the trophy, title, and $100,000 prize money. At the age of 19, Stables became the youngest champion in the history of MasterChef Canada, a title she currently holds, and tied the record for being the youngest contestant to appear and compete on the show. Following her victory, Stables moved to Kelowna, British Columbia, and currently runs a baking website called dessertclub. Stables also guest starred in an episode of the sixth season. This season aired on June 26, 2018, on TLC in India.
The seventh season of the American competitive reality television series MasterChef Junior premiered on Fox on March 12, 2019 and concluded on June 4, 2019. The season is hosted by regular judges Gordon Ramsay and Christina Tosi, while Aarón Sanchez joins the judges this season.

The sixth season of MasterChef Canada aired its special 2-hour season premiere on April 8, 2019 on CTV, concluding on June 10, 2019 with Jennifer Crawford of Kingston, Nova Scotia crowned as the winner and Andre Bhagwandat of Scarborough, Ontario finishing as the runner-up. Crawford became the first non-binary person and the first person from the Maritimes to win the competition. In a new twist this season, each judge selected six home cooks to invite to the Top 18, with each member receiving personal invitations delivered via courier.
The tenth season of the American competitive reality television series MasterChef premiered on Fox on May 29, 2019, and concluded on September 18, 2019.
