Celebrities such as Zac Efron, Channing Tatum, and Ben Stiller made appearances on the first season of the show. In season 2, Kate Winslet, Michael B. Jordan, Kate Hudson, Michelle Rodriguez, James Marsden, and then sitting President Obama appeared. The series' fourth season premiered on May 7, 2018. Grylls announced on October 27, 2018, that they will begin filming for a fifth season. In February 2019, it was announced that the show would be moving to National Geographic for its fifth season which premiered on November 5, 2019. The show was rebranded as Running Wild with Bear Grylls: The Challenge starting with Season 7.

So You Think You Can Dance, an American dance competition show, returned for its fifteenth season on Monday, June 4, 2018. The season's judge panel once again features series creator Nigel Lythgoe, as well as the return of ballroom expert Mary Murphy, and Vanessa Hudgens, while Season 4 runner-up Stephen "tWitch" Boss is the new fourth judge during the auditions and the live shows. Cat Deeley continues in her role as host for a fourteenth consecutive season. This is the last season to feature Hudgens as judge.
