Maun North is a constituency in the North-West represented in the National Assembly of Botswana. Further to the completion of the 2022 Delimitation of Parliamentary constituencies, the seat was first contested at the 2024 general election, since when it has been held by Dumelang Saleshando of the Botswana Congress Party, who is also the current Leader of the Opposition. Maun is the fifth-largest town in Botswana. As of 2011, it had a population of 55,784. Maun is the "tourism capital" of Botswana and the administrative centre of Ngamiland district. Francistown and Maun are linked by the A3 highway. Maun is also the headquarters of numerous safari and air-charter operations who run trips into the Okavango Delta.
Maun Airport is an international airport serving the town of Maun in the North-West District of Botswana. It is on the north side of the town and is accessible by shuttle bus or taxi.
General elections were held in Botswana on 16 October 2009, alongside local elections, with early voting in 26 polling stations abroad taking place 3 October. The result was a tenth successive victory for the Botswana Democratic Party, which won 45 of the 57 elected seats in the National Assembly.
Kanye South was a constituency in the Southern District represented in the National Assembly of Botswana. Further to the completion of the 2022 Delimitation of Parliamentary constituencies, the seat was subjected to significant boundary changes and was replaced by Kanye West, to be first contested at the 2024 general election.
General and local elections were held in Botswana on 24 October 2014. The result was an eleventh straight victory for the Botswana Democratic Party, which won 37 of the 57 elected seats. Incumbent president Ian Khama was sworn in for a second term on 28 October.
Dumelang Saleshando is a Motswana politician and economist who has served as the Leader of the Botswana Congress Party since 2010. Saleshando is the current Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly of Botswana since 11 November 2024. He also serves as MP for Maun North since 2024.
General elections were held in Botswana on 30 October 2024 to determine the composition of the 13th Parliament of Botswana as well as local councils across the country. Up for election were 61 seats of the National Assembly as well as 609 local council seats, all elected through the first-past-the-post voting system.

Goodhope-Mabule was a constituency in Botswana represented in the National Assembly. After the completion of the 2022 Delimitation of Parliamentary constituencies, the seat was be subject to significant boundary changes merging with Mmathethe-Molapowabojang. It was abolished and renamed Goodhope-Mmathethe, which was first contested at the 2024 general election.
Kgatleng Central is a constituency in the Kgatleng represented in the National Assembly of Botswana. Further to the completion of the 2022 Delimitation of Parliamentary constituencies, the seat will be first contested at the 2024 general election.
