The Medical District of Augusta, Georgia, is a special-use zoning district located between downtown and Summerville. The district is bounded to the north by Walton Way, to the east by R.A. Dent Boulevard, to the west by Heard Avenue, and to the south by Wrightsboro Road. The district comprises a number of medical facilities and private medical companies. [1]

The Walter Reed Army Medical Center (WRAMC)—known as Walter Reed General Hospital (WRGH) until 1951—was the U.S. Army's flagship medical center from 1909 to 2011. Arak University of Medical Sciences is one of the most prestigious Iranian medical schools located in Arak, Iran. This university is the main health care provider in Markazi province and one of the biggest universities central of Iran. The university was established by efforts of the director of regional organizations for Health in Markazi province and Majlis representative of Arak and authorities of Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education. University Hospital is a non-profit 581-bed private hospital located in downtown Augusta, Georgia. Established in 1818, it is the second-oldest hospital in Georgia. Although University Hospital is a teaching institution, it does not currently sponsor an academic program resulting in a degree. The Psychiatric Institute of Washington (PIW) is an acute psychiatric hospital in Washington, D.C. Opened in 1967, PIW is a short-term, private hospital. It offers behavioral healthcare to patients suffering from mental and addictive illnesses, including children, adolescents, adults and the elderly. Services offered by PIW include inpatient, partial and intensive outpatient hospitalization, and group treatment programs for substance abuse and addiction.

Paoli Hospital Hospital in Pennsylvania, United States

Paoli Hospital is a 231-bed, not-for-profit, acute care hospital in Paoli, Pennsylvania. In 2014, the hospital was re-accredited as a Level II Trauma Center, the only one in Chester County.
