Mehrunnisa Parvez is an Indian writer of Hindi literature. [1]
She was born in 1944; she published her first story in 1963 in Dharamayug magazine; and she has authored several short stories and novels in Hindi. [2] Amma, [3] published in 1967, and Samara, [4] released in 1969, are two of her notable works. Besides, she has also published several short story anthologies, [5] and her works have been the subject of academic studies. [6] The Government of India awarded her the fourth highest civilian honour of the Padma Shri in 2005 for her contributions to Indian literature. [7]
She is married to Shri Bhagirath Prasad, a retired Indian Administrative Service officer who is the first person to enter into this prestigious service from the state of Madhya Pradesh and the current Member of Parliament from Bhind Lok Sabha Constituency in Madhya Pradesh. The couple lives in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. [8]

Jagdish Chaturvedi was an Indian poet of Hindi literature. He was born on 15 August 1929, at Gwalior in the state of Madhya Pradesh and after securing his master's degree in Philosophy, started his career by joining Madhav College, Ujjain as a member of its faculty. Later, worked in All India Radio and the Central Hindi Directorate as an editor. He published several books of prose and poetry and also translated many books into the Hindi language. The Government of India awarded him the fourth highest civilian honour of the Padma Shri in 2003. He died at his Delhi residence in 2015.
Akshay Kumar Jain (1915–1993) was an Indian independence activist, writer, journalist and the editor of Navbharat Times, a Hindi-language daily owned by The Times Group. He was one of the founders of the National Union of Journalists (India) and held the chair of its reception committee when the organization was formed in 1972.
Sushil Kumar Jain known professionally as Sushil Doshi is an Indian journalist, writer, sports commentator and the first cricket commentator in Hindi. Born to Niranjanlal and Madan Kunwar at Indore, in the second largest Indian city of Madhya Pradesh, he graduated in engineering from Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science (SGSITS) Indore and started his commentating career in 1968 at the Nehru Stadium for a Ranji Trophy match between Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. Over the years, he is reported to have covered nine Cricket World Cups, 85 test matches and over 400 One Day Internationals, besides several Twenty20 Internationals. His contributions are reported in making cricket commentary in Hindi popular. He has also written two books in Hindi on sports, Khel Patrakarita published in 2003 and Cricket Ka Mahabharat, published in 2016.

In 2021, she was honoured with the Padma Shri in the field of Hindi literature and education at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Dehli by the Government of India, which is the fourth-highest civilian award of the Republic of India.
