Erika Yuriko Iris Yamasaki is an Australian weightlifter. The daughter of Minoru Yamasaki and Ann Alvisio, she started Weightlifting in 2000, when she was tested in a talent identification program, along with her brother John Yamasaki. Erika first started to represent Australia in 2003 at the Oceania Championships, Niue Island. Zoe Smith is an English weightlifter. In October 2010 she won a bronze medal in the women's 58 kg division at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, India, her first senior international competition, to become the first English woman to win a Commonwealth Games weightlifting medal. Smith competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London and finished 12th in the Women's 58 kg division. After missing the 2016 Summer Olympics following an injury, she finished eighth in the 59 kg at the 2020 Summer Olympics. At the 2023 European Weightlifting Championships she won the gold in Clean and Jerk and the bronze in the 64 kg total category. She failed to qualify for the 2024 Summer Olympics.
Seen Lee is an Australian weightlifter. She won a bronze medal at the 2002 Commonwealth Games and a silver at the 2010 Commonwealth Games. She represented Australia in weightlifting at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
Gareth Irfon Evans is a Welsh weightlifter. He has competed in the 62 kg and 69 kg weight categories, and was selected to represent Great Britain at the 2012 Olympics.
Luisa Fatiaki Taitapu Peters is a police officer and retired weightlifter from the Cook Islands, who competes in the +75 kg weight division. She participated in two Olympics and three Commonwealth Games with the best result of fifth place in 2018. She won a bronze medal at the 2015 Pacific Games.

Abeer Abdelrahman Khalil Mahmoud is an Egyptian weightlifter. She was born in Alexandria, Egypt. She competed at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics in the -69 kg and -75 kg weight categories, respectively, and finished in fifth place at both Games. In 2016, Abdelrahman retroactively became the first Egyptian woman to win an Olympic medal when the original gold, silver, and bronze medal winners were disqualified due to doping. Abdelrahman is now the silver medal winner for the 75 kg event in the 2012 Summer Olympics, coming second to Spain's Lidia Velentin. The first Egyptian woman to receive her Olympic medal on the podium was Sara Ahmed for her bronze medal performance in the women's 69 kg at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Mirabai Chanu is an Indian weightlifter. She won the silver medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in the Women's 49 kg event. She has won gold medals at the World Championships and Commonwealth Games. She was awarded the Padma Shri and Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna by the Government of India in 2018.
Sara Samir Elsayed Mohamed Ahmed is an Egyptian weightlifter who won a bronze medal in the women's 69 kg event at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and the silver medal in the women's 81kg event at the 2024 Summer Olympics. She won the gold medal in the women's 76 kg event at the 2022 World Weightlifting Championships.
Janet Marie Georges is a weightlifter and policewoman from Seychelles. Competing in the 69 kg division she won two medals at the Commonwealth Games, in 2006 and 2010. In 2024, she was appointed as commissioner of the Seychelles Prison Services.
Kristel Ngarlem is a Canadian weightlifter. She won the silver medal in the women's 87 kg event at the 2022 Commonwealth Games held in Birmingham, England. She is a bronze medallist at the Pan American Weightlifting Championships. She represented Canada at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.
Chinenye Fidelis is a Nigerian weightlifter. She represents Nigeria both nationally and internationally. She has competed in the Nigerian National Sports Festival, African Weightlifting Championships and World Weightlifting Championships.
Joy Ogbonne Eze is a Nigerian weightlifter. She is a two-time gold medalist at the African Games. She also won the gold medal in the women's 64 kg event at the 2021 African Weightlifting Championships in Nairobi, Kenya. She represented Nigeria at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France.
Jeanne Gaëlle Eyenga Mbo'ossi is a Cameroonian weightlifter. She represented Cameroon at the 2019 African Games held in Rabat, Morocco and she won the silver medal in the women's 76 kg event. She won the gold medal in her event at the 2021 African Weightlifting Championships held in Nairobi, Kenya.

Rafiatu Folashade Lawal is a Nigerian weightlifter. She won the gold medal in the women's 59 kg event at the 2022 Commonwealth Games held in Birmingham, England. She represented Nigeria at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France. In 2019, she represented Nigeria at the African Games held in Rabat, Morocco and she won the gold medal in the women's 59 kg event.
