The Mi Plan Tour was the fourth concert tour by Canadian singer-songwriter Nelly Furtado. The tour supported her fourth studio album, Mi Plan (2009). Since the album was recorded in Spanish, the tour primarily focused on hispanophone countries in the Americas. Dates in Europe and Asia were scheduled as well.
The tour was announced on January 5, 2010 via Furtado's official website. [1] For the tour, Furtado asked her fans for help choosing the setlist, asking which songs should be on the show. [2]
The concert in Santiago was one of the first after the 2010 Chile earthquake that happened 3 weeks before. Nelly Furtado donated 5% of the revenues to the people affected by the catastrophe. [3] To promote the tour in Brazil on March 24, 2010, Furtado made a "VIP Pocket Show" appearance in the reality show program Big Brother Brasil 10 from Rede Globo, the country's leading channel. She performed 5 songs from the tour in acoustic versions ("Maneater", "I'm Like a Bird", "Try", "Say It Right" and "Turn Off The Light").

Nelly Kim Furtado is a Canadian singer and songwriter. She has sold over 40 million records worldwide making her one of the most successful Canadian artists. She is widely known for her musical versatility and genre experimentation.

Loose is the third studio album by Canadian singer-songwriter Nelly Furtado, released on 7 June 2006, by Geffen and Mosley Music Group. Following the release of Furtado's second album, Folklore (2003), through DreamWorks Records, it was announced that Universal Music Group would acquire DreamWorks Records, the latter was folded into the Interscope Geffen A&M umbrella label where Furtado would release any new music. Recording sessions for Loose took place from 2005 to 2006. "No Hay Igual" is a song by Canadian singer-songwriter Nelly Furtado from her third studio album, Loose (2006). It was written and produced by Furtado, Tim "Timbaland" Mosley, Nate "Danja" Hills, and Nisan Stewart, with vocal production by Jim Beanz. While working with Timbaland and Danja at The Hit Factory in Miami, Florida, Pharrell Williams introduced Furtado to reggaeton, a musical genre that was unfamiliar to her. After he played a song for her, Furtado became inspired and wrote the lyrics to "No Hay Igual" "nearly on the spot". It is a hip-hop and reggaeton song in which Furtado sings in Spanish over a reggaeton rhythm.

It was released to mainstream radio in the United States in July 2006. The song's musical style and production were inspired by the Hall & Oates song of the same name and other music from the 1980s.

The Backstreet Boys' Unbreakable Tour was a 2008–2009 concert tour. This was their seventh concert tour in support of their sixth studio album Unbreakable (2007) and this was the first Backstreet Boys tour as a quartet without Kevin Richardson who left the group in June 2006. The album was produced primarily by Furtado with other contributions made by James Bryan, Lester Mendez, Salaam Remi, The Demolition Crew, Julieta Venegas and Brian West. Furtado described the songs on the album to be "simple love songs".
The Burn in the Spotlight Tour was the debut concert tour by Canadian singer-songwriter Nelly Furtado, in support of her debut studio album Whoa, Nelly! (2000). The tour visited North America, Europe and Australasia, performing over 90 shows over the course of 13 months. While on this main tour, Furtado also toured as the opening act for David Gray and U2.
