The Mi Plan Tour was the fourth concert tour by Canadian singer-songwriter Nelly Furtado. The tour supported her fourth studio album, Mi Plan (2009). Since the album was recorded in Spanish, the tour primarily focused on hispanophone countries in the Americas. Dates in Europe and Asia were scheduled as well.
The tour was announced on January 5, 2010 via Furtado's official website. [1] For the tour, Furtado asked her fans for help choosing the setlist, asking which songs should be on the show. [2]
The concert in Santiago was one of the first after the 2010 Chile earthquake that happened 3 weeks before. Nelly Furtado donated 5% of the revenues to the people affected by the catastrophe. [3] To promote the tour in Brazil on March 24, 2010, Furtado made a "VIP Pocket Show" appearance in the reality show program Big Brother Brasil 10 from Rede Globo, the country's leading channel. She performed 5 songs from the tour in acoustic versions ("Maneater", "I'm Like a Bird", "Try", "Say It Right" and "Turn Off The Light").

Loose is the third studio album by Canadian singer-songwriter Nelly Furtado, released on 7 June 2006, by Geffen and Mosley Music Group. Recording sessions for Loose took place from 2005 to 2006. Timbaland and his protégé Danja produced the bulk of the album, primarily a pop album which incorporates influences of dance, R&B, hip hop, latin pop, synth-pop, reggaeton, new wave, funk, and Middle Eastern music. Lyrically, it explores the theme of female sexuality and has been described as introspective.

This was their seventh concert tour in support of their sixth studio album Unbreakable (2007) and this was the first Backstreet Boys tour as a quartet without Kevin Richardson who left the group on June 23, 2006. It was released independently on September 11, 2009 by Furtado’s own record label Nelstar Entertainment with distribution by Universal Music Latino. This marks Furtado’s first independently released album. Recording sessions for the album took place from 2008 to 2009. The album was produced primarily by Furtado with other contributions made by James Bryan, Lester Mendez, Salaam Remi, The Demolition Crew, Julieta Venegas and Brian West. Furtado described the songs on the album to be "simple love songs".
The Final Frontier World Tour was a concert tour by Iron Maiden in support of the band's 15th album, The Final Frontier, which began on 9 June 2010 in Dallas and ended in London, England on 6 August 2011. The tour was announced on the band's official website on 5 March 2010 under the following statement:
"Iron Maiden are pleased to announce that their forthcoming new studio album will be called 'The Final Frontier', and is expected be released late summer of this year.
The announcement comes with news of a North American Tour with Very Special Guests Dream Theater to open in Dallas, Texas, on 9th June and finish in Washington, D.C. on 20th July, making it Maiden's most extensive North American tour in many years.
Following these shows in USA and Canada The Final Frontier World Tour will travel back to Europe for a few selected major festival and stadium shows with the band planning to continue to many other countries in 2011."
The Burn in the Spotlight Tour was the debut concert tour by Canadian singer-songwriter Nelly Furtado, in support of her debut studio album Whoa, Nelly! (2000). The tour visited North America, Europe and Australasia, performing over 90 shows over the course of 13 months. While on this main tour, Furtado also toured as the opening act for David Gray and U2. She was also a supporting act for the Area Festival. The singer also participated in various radio music festivals in the United States.
The Sun Comes Out World Tour was the fifth concert tour by Colombian singer Shakira, launched in support of her eighth and ninth studio albums, She Wolf (2009) and Sale El Sol (2010).
