La Academia is a Mexican reality musical talent television series shown on Azteca, that premiered in June 2002 and is currently in its thirteenth installment. Although the show itself is not affiliated with the Endemol franchise, which includes the "Star Academy" shows, it does share the competition format of many of the variants of the global franchise.

Desafío de Estrellas is a Mexican musical show produced and distributed by TV Azteca, the second most important network in the country. The format of the Desafío is similar to American Idol with contestants eliminated every week and a grand finale with the top contestants competing to win the first place prize. TV Azteca has, until 2006, produced two versions of the program, one in 2003 and the other in 2006. The 2003 version consisted only of former contestants of La Academia, another TV Azteca-produced show which had already garnished two seasons and, in the process, taken away rating from Televisa, the prime network of the country. The 2006 version, on the other hand, consisted of both former contestants of La Academia, as well as other artists produced by TV Azteca in the middle and late '90s, later in 2009 a third season took place with former contestants of the six seasons of la academia.

Un Lucero en la México is Lucero's first ever live recording. Recorded during her 1999 concert in "La Plaza de Toros", Mexico. The album was a 2 disc release, with the first being the Pop/Ballad Music, and the second disc, all the mariachi songs. It was released on 18 November 1999. The sales eventually led to a gold status in Mexico.
Historias e Histeria is La Ley's second greatest hits compilation album. The band was convinced to do this in lieu of a new studio album. The band had to make an album of 16 songs in very limited amount of time. The album was released almost immediately after their previous album Libertad after only one year of the latter's release. The album contains some of the most popular songs of each of their albums plus three new songs, "Mirate", "Histeria", and "Bienvenido al Anochecer." The first single of the album Mírate was released while the band was still promoting the final single "Mi Ley" from the album, Libertad.
La Voz de un Ángel, is Yuridia's debut album. La Voz de un Ángel was released in 2005, after the finale of La Academia, the Mexican reality show that the artist participated in. The album contains 15 songs interpreted by Yuridia during the series of concerts in the show, in which she was voted second place. The album has had the highest sales for a Mexican album in many years.

La Academia 5 is the fifth musical reality show in the La Academia franchise. The auditions were done nationwide and a total of 30 people were chosen to go to Mexico where they would have to spend a week working hard and showing all of what they had inside to be chosen to the final 20, a first for La academia for the past 5 seasons including La academia USA only 18 finalists were selected. The first La academia 5 concert was on July 9, 2006.

"Te Perdiste Mi Amor" is a Latin pop-bachata song recorded by Mexican recording artist Thalía featuring American singer-songwriter Prince Royce, and included in Thalía's eleventh studio album Habítame Siempre (2012). The song was written by Royce, Guianko Gómez and Jorge Luis Chacín, while it was produced by the first two and Efraín "Junito" Dávila. It was released as the second single from Habítame Siempre on February 3, 2013.
