Michael Obasuyi (born 12 August 1999) is a Belgian hurdler. He competed in the 2020 [1] and 2024 Summer Olympics [2] He was born to a Nigerian father and Belgian mother both of whom sprinted in their youth. [3] In November 2024 he testified in the De Standaard newspaper about his lifelong struggle with autism. [4]

The Belgium national football team has officially represented Belgium in men's international football since their maiden match in 1904. The squad is under the global jurisdiction of FIFA and is governed in Europe by UEFA—both of which were co-founded by the Belgian team's supervising body, the Royal Belgian Football Association. Periods of regular Belgian representation at the highest international level, from 1920 to 1938, from 1980 to 2002 and again from 2014 onwards, have alternated with mostly unsuccessful qualification rounds. Most of Belgium's home matches are played at the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels.
Yuhan Tan is a male left-handed badminton player and Orthopedic surgeon from Belgium. Born to a Chinese-Indonesian father and a Belgian mother, He is a 10 time Belgian Champion in the men's singles category which makes him the most successful men's singles athlete in Belgian history. In 2008 he was the 2nd youngest men's singles player to qualify for the 2008 Olympics according to the Badminton World Federation criteria. However the Belgian Olympic Committee did not select him and he was therefore not able to compete. Tan participated at the 2012 Summer Olympics and in the 2016 Summer Olympics together with his sister Lianne.
Taine Paton is a South African field hockey player who plays as a midfielder for Belgian Hockey League club Gantoise. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he competed for the national team in the men's tournament, with his brother Wade Paton. He also represented South Africa at the 2014 Commonwealth Games. He played a total of 145 matches for the South African national team until 2022.

After playing basketball in Belgium, Meesseman was drafted by the Washington Mystics with the 19th overall pick in the second round of the 2013 WNBA draft. She has also played for the Belgian national team and several European professional teams. She was named the 2011 FIBA Europe Young Women's Player of the Year and the 2019 WNBA Finals MVP. Meesseman studied physical education at Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
