The 2017 European Athletics U20 Championships were the 24th edition of the biennial European U20 athletics championships. They were held in Grosseto, Italy from 20 July to 23 July. [1]

In response, the Belarusian athlete left the podium before the end of the ceremony. The scene was filmed and published on the [NEXTA] YouTube channel, confirming the incident. The organizers later apologized and offered to hold a new ceremony.
