The 12th European Cross Country Championships were held at Tilburg in Netherlands on 11 December 2005. Serhiy Lebid won the men's competition for the sixth time and Lornah Kiplagat won the women's race.

Castle Rock Hoodoos Provincial Park is a provincial park in British Columbia, Canada. Located on the Deadman Plateau northwest of Kamloops, the park was originally named Deadman Hoodoos Provincial Park and was created on July 23, 1997 and was 34 hectares in size. The park was reduced in size to 16 hectares on April 11, 2001, and renamed at the same time.

Shuswap Lake Marine Provincial Park is a provincial park in British Columbia, Canada, comprising 894 ha. The Park has a variety of amenities including boat launch ramps, picnic areas, and 27 campsites around the perimeter of Shuswap Lake.
