Mihaíl Anastasákis (Greek : Μιχάλης Αναστασάκης; born 3 December 1994) is a Greek track and field athlete specialising in the hammer throw. [2] He finished fourth at the 2016 European Championships.
His personal best in the event is 77.72 metres set in Nikiti in 2017.
The decathlon is a combined event in athletics consisting of 10 track and field events. The word "decathlon" was formed, in analogy to the word "pentathlon", from Greek δέκα and ἄθλος. Events are held over two consecutive days and the winners are determined by the combined performance in all. Performance is judged on a points system in each event, not by the position achieved. The decathlon is contested mainly by male athletes, while female athletes typically compete in the heptathlon.
The Battle of Kalimanci was fought between the Kingdom of Serbia and the Kingdom of Bulgaria during the Second Balkan War. The battle started on the 18th and ended on the 19th of July 1913. The Bulgarian Army stopped the Serbian Army from pushing them out of Macedonia and joining up with the Greek Army downstream of the river Struma.
