Mike Shopping Mall is a chain of multi-story shopping malls on the beachfront of Pattaya, Thailand. The main mall is one of two centers named Mike Shopping Mall, both of which are owned by The Mike Group of Thailand who also own and operate several resorts and housing developments throughout the city. The larger, newer mall is on Pattaya Beach Road, south of the Pattaya Klang (Central) Road intersection. [2]
The ground floor consists of a small supermarket, pharmacy, ice cream parlor, as well as money changers and various shops and kiosks selling clothes and locally manufactured goods. The upper floors house the actual Mike Department Store, with a food court and a public swimming pool occupying the top floor and roof, respectively. The front entrance facing Beach Road features an open air beer garden and bandstand for the occasional live band.
Along the north end of the mall lies "artist's row", a row of small stalls featuring local artists selling their original works, as well as copied masterpieces. Artist's row or Art Street as it was named was demolished in September 2017 and many of the Artist's and Tattooist's have now moved along to Tipp Plaza that runs between 2nd Road and Beach Road further north of Mike Shopping Mall.
The smaller, older mall is further south along Pattaya Beach Road. This mall does not contain a proper department store, rather, the floors are occupied by private vendors selling various goods such as clothing and decorative items. Much of the clothing found in this branch are "knock-offs" of branded clothing.

From its modest start in 1923 until the chain's demise in 1987, Ohrbach's expanded dramatically after World War II, and opened numerous branch locations in the New York and Los Angeles metropolitan areas. Plaza Singapura is a contemporary shopping mall located along Orchard Road, Singapore, next to Dhoby Ghaut MRT station. The mall is managed by CapitaLand and owned by CapitaMall Trust. There are retail outlets over seven floors and two basements. The mall has a 752 lot seven-storey carpark at the rear of the building, and a two basement goods bay beneath it. The mall is popular with families, teenagers and young adults.

CentralWorld is a shopping plaza and complex in Bangkok, Thailand. It is the eleventh largest shopping complex in the world. The complex, which includes a hotel and office tower, is owned by Central Pattana. In 2006, after three years of design and renovation, CentralWorld was expanded to 550,000 m2 (5,900,000 sq ft) of shopping mall and 830,000 m2 (8,900,000 sq ft) of complex, topping nearby rival Siam Paragon in terms of size.

The H. & S. Pogue Company was a Cincinnati, Ohio based department store chain founded by two brothers, Henry and Samuel Pogue. They came from County Caven, Northern Ireland, to Cincinnati and worked in their uncle's dry goods store. They later were able to buy him out and H. & S. Pogue Dry Goods Company was established in 1863 at 111 West Fifth Street. Brothers Thomas, Joseph, and William Pogue would eventually join the enterprise.

Hanningtons was a department store located in Brighton, part of the English coastal city of Brighton and Hove. Prominently situated in a central position in Brighton, it had an unbroken history of trading for nearly 200 years until its closure in 2001. It was the city's oldest, largest and most diverse department store: its 70 departments offered clothes and household goods of all types, and services ranging from funeral arrangement to carpet-cleaning. "Famous" and "prestigious", it was known locally as the "Harrods of Brighton".
