Milkshake is the debut EP by British pop band Jaws. It features both of their singles and their B-sides up until when it was released, and a new single titled "Friend Like You", released on 31 March 2013. [1]

Contents

The EP was released on 21 April 2013 through Rattlepop as a digital download. [2] It was meant to be released on vinyl on the same date, but due to delay in the manufacturing of the vinyl made it be pushed to be released on 6 May. It was released on blue vinyl, limited to 250 copies. [3] On August 27, 2013, it was released in Japan on CD. [4] It was re-pressed on pink vinyl in December 2013, limited to 300 copies. [5]

NME gave the EP a fairly positive review saying that Jaws were "making laziness look and sound good since April 2013," as well as saying "no-one has ever sounded so much like the internal monologue of a sunbathing cat." [6]

Cancer Bats are a Canadian hardcore punk band from Toronto, Ontario. They have released six studio albums and six extended plays. The band is composed of vocalist Liam Cormier, drummer Mike Peters and bassist Jaye R. Schwarzer. Cancer Bats take a wide variety of influences from heavy metal sub-genres and fuse them into hardcore and punk rock, and also include elements of Southern rock. Their sound has been likened to sludge metal, as well as to that of metalcore bands such as Converge and Hatebreed. The members of Cancer Bats have also toured and recorded as a Black Sabbath tribute band under the name Bat Sabbath.

The Sunshine Underground

The Sunshine Underground were an English alternative dance band based in Leeds, England. Their style developed from indie, alternative to electronic music, and they released four full-length albums; Raise the Alarm (2006), Nobody's Coming to Save You (2010), The Sunshine Underground (2014) and their farewell album, Luminescent (2016). The group, named after a song from the 1999 album Surrender by The Chemical Brothers, were often associated with the British nu-rave scene of 2006 and built a respectable live following after years of touring.

Chase & Status are an English electronic music duo composed of Saul Milton (Chase) and Will Kennard (Status). In addition, Andy Gangadeen is the drummer when the band performs live. Too Young to Love 2008 single by The Big Pink

"Too Young to Love" is the debut single by The Big Pink. "Too Young to Love" was released with the double A-side track "Crystal Visions" on 7" vinyl on October 7, 2008, and both tracks were later re-recorded and included on their debut album A Brief History of Love in September 2009. The song was self-produced by the band, and the single was a limited edition pressing of only 500 copies. The sleeve features a homoerotic photograph by Dennis Cooper as its cover. Similarly, a limited edition 12" single for "Too Young to Love," released in Japan only on April 1, 2009, features more of Cooper's photography as its cover. The 12" also features an early version of "Count Backwards from Ten," which was also re-recorded for the debut album, and the exclusive non-album track "With You."

<i>PAX AM Days</i> 2013 EP by Fall Out Boy

PAX AM Days is an EP by American rock band Fall Out Boy, released on October 15, 2013 by Island Records and PAX AM. It consists of hardcore punk and punk rock influenced tracks recorded during a two-day "marathon" session with producer Ryan Adams and the band in July 2013 at PAX AM Studios. The EP was released on CD, digitally and on double 7" vinyl as a stand-alone EP, and also on a limited Save Rock and Roll PAX AM Edition (2013) double-disc reissue. The double 7" vinyl pressing was limited to 3,000, and released on November 29 as part of Record Store Day - Back to Black Friday. Each copy came with a code for a bonus song download, a cover of "New Dreams" by Naked Raygun. The code was found stamped into the dead wax of the 7". On September 30, Fall Out Boy announced the EP and its release date, as well as premiered the first digital single "Love, Sex, Death" with its accompanying video. PAX AM Days was the band's second release in 2013 after the comeback album Save Rock and Roll, and marks a return to their hardcore musical roots with aggressive guitar work, the "antithesis" to the polished Save Rock and Roll.

JAWS are an English indie rock band formed in Birmingham, England in 2012 after singer Connor Schofield had posted a demo (Cameron) online that received enough positive feedback to encourage him to start a band with friends from Halesowen College. They have often been identified as part of the Digbeth-based B-Town scene.

Reverend and the Makers English rock band

Reverend and the Makers are an English rock band from Sheffield, South Yorkshire. The band is fronted by Jon McClure, nicknamed "The Reverend". Their debut album, The State of Things (2007), helped them gain success in Britain and spawned the UK top 10 single "Heavyweight Champion of the World". The band released their second album, A French Kiss in the Chaos (2009), which led to them being invited to support Oasis on their final tour, playing venues such as Wembley Stadium. The KVB

The KVB is a British audio-visual duo originally formed in London. in 2010 by Nicholas Wood & Kat Day. The KVB's sound has been described as a combination of electronic, psychedelic, post-punk and shoegaze. The visual element of the band is created by Kat Day, who studied fine art at Goldsmiths, University of London.

Milk (The 1975 song) 2017 single by The 1975

"Milk" is a song by English band the 1975, originally included as a hidden track on the band's second extended play (EP), Sex (2012). The song was written by George Daniel, Matthew Healy, Adam Hann and Ross MacDonald. The 1975 produced it alongside Michael and Robert Coles. In 2013, the song served as the B-side on a limited edition 7-inch vinyl single for the Neighbourhood's "No Grey". A remastered version of the song was released as a standalone track on 6 October 2017.
