Minar Rahman, popularly known as Minar, is a Bangladeshi singer-songwriter, composer, lyricist, writer and cartoonist. [1] He rose to fame with the first solo album in 2008 named Danpitey which is written, composed by himself. [2] [3]

Minar came up with his second studio album, Aari in 2011 after collaborating in mixed albums. His third album, Ahare released in 2015. In 2018, Minar made his debut in Tollywood, with the single, "Eka Din" for the film Fidaa . [4]

Career

Minar started his musical life by the inspiration of his father. Minar became famous after releasing his song "Shada", which was written, composed and sung by Minar and music was arranged by Tahsan. His first solo album "Danpitey" released in 2008, second solo album "Aari" got released in 2011. His third solo album is "Aha Re", [5] which was released on 6 June 2015. In 2013 he worked on a mixed album named "The Hit Album 4". His songs Jhoom and Keu Kotha Rakheni are two of the most-viewed Bangladeshi songs on YouTube. [6] [7]

<i>Swatta</i> 2017 Bangladeshi romantic drama film directed by Hashibur Reza Kallol

Swatta is a 2017 Bangladeshi romantic tragedy film. The film directed by Hashibur Reza Kallol and produced by Sohani Hossain under the banner of Taranga Entertainment. It is a story written by Sohani Hossain and a screenplay and dialogue written by Ferdous Hassan. The film features Bangladeshi superstar Shakib Khan and Paoli Dam in the lead roles and Kabila, Nasreen, Rina Khan, Don and many have played supporting roles in the film.

Bay of Bengal is a Bangladeshi experimental rock/metal band formed in Chittagong on 26 December 2010. Their debut album Nirob Durvikkho was released in 2016. They are well known for their usage of distinct flutes and keyboard solos in their songs.

Taneem Rahman Angshu is a National Award winning Bangladeshi film director, screenwriter, editor and CGI Artist who largely works in Bengali Films and TV productions. His first feature film Shopner Ghor (2018), was a horror film which had critical success. He won the Best Director (Bangladesh) for Shopner Ghor at 18th Telecine Award in Kolkata, India. His second film No Dorai (2019), was a major commercial success and won six national awards at Bangladesh's 33rd National Film Award (2019) including the Best Director and Best Film Category. No Dorai also won FIPRESCI at 18th Dhaka International Film Festival. Angshu also won Best Music Video Award in Channel-I Music Awards for two consecutive years, 2016 and 2017.
