Minar Rahman is a Bangladeshi singer-songwriter, composer, and cartoonist. [1] He rose to fame with the first solo album in 2008 named Danpitey which is written, composed by himself. [2] [3]

Contents

Minar came up with his second studio album, Aari in 2011 after collaborating in mixed albums. His third album, Ahare released in 2015. In 2018, Minar made his debut in Tollywood, with the single, "Eka Din" for the film Fidaa . [4]

Career

Minar started his musical life by the inspiration of his father. Minar became famous after releasing his song "Shada", which was written, composed and sung by Minar and music was arranged by Tahsan. His first solo album Danpitey released in 2008, second solo album Aari got released in 2011. His third solo album is Aha Re, [5] which was released on 6 June 2015. In 2013 he worked on a mixed album named The Hit Album 4. His songs "Jhoom" and "Keu Kotha Rakheni" are two of the most-viewed Bangladeshi songs on YouTube. [6] [7]

Swatta is a 2017 Bangladeshi romantic tragedy film. The film was directed by Hashibur Reza Kallol and produced by Sohani Hossain under the banner of Taranga Entertainment. It is a story written by Sohani Hossain and the screenplay and dialogue written by Ferdous Hassan. Bay of Bengal is a Bangladeshi experimental rock/metal band formed in Chittagong on 26 December 2010. Their debut album Nirob Durvikkho was released in 2016. They are well known for their usage of distinct flutes and keyboard solos in their songs.

Taneem Rahman Angshu is a Bangladeshi filmmaker specializing in Bengali film and TV production. His first feature film Shopner Ghor (2018), earned critical acclaim, with Angshu winning Best Director (Bangladesh) during the 18th Telecine Award in Kolkata, India.

Prince Mahmud is a Bangladeshi lyricist, composer and music director, who has been writing and composing songs for solo and joint albums of band artists in Bangladesh since the 90's. Many of his songs gained wide popularity. His first mixed album Shakti (1995) propelled his journey as a composer of mixed albums, which immediately garnered him a massive success. In a career spanning more than three decades, Mahmud has released 50 albums including solo, duets and mixed. He is widely regarded as the greatest lyricist and composer of his time.
