Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (Sierra Leone)

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Sierra Leone is a cabinet minister in charge of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Sierra Leone, responsible for conducting foreign relations of the country.

Kailahun District is a district in the Eastern Province of Sierra Leone. Its capital and largest city is the town of Kailahun. The second most populous city in the district is Segbwema. Other major towns in Kailahun District include Koindu, Pendembu and Daru. As of the 2015 census, the district had a population of 525,372. Kailahun District is subdivided into fourteen chiefdoms.

Madam Shirley Yema Gbujama is a Sierra Leonean politician who served in a number of cabinet positions, including minister for foreign affairs, minister of social welfare, minister of tourism and culture, and minister of gender and children’s affairs. She was one of the most respected and longest-serving cabinet ministers in President Ahmad Tejan Kabbah's government. Gbujama belongs to the Mende ethnic group.

The Cabinet of Sierra Leone is the chief executive body of the Republic of Sierra Leone. Cabinet members are nominated by the President and are then proceeded to the House of Parliament of Sierra Leone for confirmation or rejection by a majority vote by members of Parliament. The president has the constitutional power to dismiss a cabinet official at any time.

Dr Samura Mathew Wilson Kamara is a Sierra Leonean politician and economist. He was the All Peoples Congress (APC) Party's candidate for President of Sierra Leone in the 2018 election and 2023 election. He was the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Sierra Leone from 2012 to 2017, Minister of Finance and Economic Development from 2009 to 2013, Governor of the Bank of Sierra Leone from 2007 to 2009, Financial Secretary in the Ministry of Finance during President Ahmad Tejan Kabbah's administration.

Alusine Fofanah is a Sierra Leonean politician and diplomat. A member of the Sierra Leone People's Party, Fofanah was the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation from 1995–1996 and a member of Sierra Leone's Parliament for many years. He is also a lecturer in the graduate school for social sciences at Njala University.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation is the foreign policy department of the Government of Sierra Leone.

Maigore Kallon was a Sierra Leonean politician and diplomat. A founding member of the Sierra Leone People's Party (SLPP), he later served as the chairman of the party. Kallon served as the third Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Sierra Leone from 1965 to 1967. He briefly regained the position of Foreign Minister in 1996 during the first cabinet of President Ahmad Tejan Kabbah, a member of the SLPP.

Sierra Leone–Yugoslavia relations were historical foreign relations between Sierra Leone and now split-up Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. Two countries established formal diplomatic relations in 1961. Both countries were member states of the Non-Aligned Movement and cooperated in the United Nations in bridging the Cold War divisions. Two countries reached the peak of their diplomatic relations in cooperation on the issue of Rhodesia.

Timothy Musa Kabba is a Sierra Leonean petroleum engineer, diplomat and politician, currently the Minister Of Foreign Affairs for the Republic of Sierra Leone. He previously served as the minister of Mines and Mineral Resources and also held the position of Director-General at the petroleum directorate in Sierra Leone.
