The Royal Norwegian Ministry of Transport, also referred as Ministry of Transport and Communications is a Norwegian ministry established in 1946, and is responsible for transportation in Norway. The ministry was responsible for communication infrastructure until may 2019, when the responsibility for the Norwegian Communications Authority was transferred to Ministry of Local Government and Regional Development. Since October 2021, the ministry has been headed by Jon-Ivar Nygård of the Labour Party. The department must report to the parliament (Stortinget).

The Port of Split is a port in the central Dalmatian city of Split, Croatia. The port was originally a trading post originally established by Greek settlers from the island of Vis and subsequently taken over by the Romans. The ministry of Construction, Spatial Planning and State Property of the Republic of Croatia is the ministry in the Government of Croatia which is in charge of construction.

The Register of Protected Natural Values of the Republic of Croatia has been created according to the Nature Protection Act in 2005. The register is being administered by the Administration for Nature Protection within the Croatian Ministry of Culture. The register serves as a reference database and unique official data source about protected areas in Croatia. The data in this register is public with the exception of special cases of confidentiality regarding the position of certain protected natural goods. The Nature Protection Act stipulates nine categories of protected areas.

The Port of Rijeka is a seaport in Rijeka, Croatia, located on the shore of the Kvarner Gulf in the Adriatic Sea. The first records of the port date to 1281. It was the main port of the Kingdom of Hungary in the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, of Yugoslavia between World War II and 1991, and of Croatia after its independence. Today, it is the largest port in Croatia with a cargo throughput of 13.6 million tonnes (2020), mostly oil, general cargo and bulk cargo, and 344,091 Twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs).

The Ministry of Construction, Transportation and Infrastructure of the Republic of Serbia is the ministry in the Government of Serbia which is in the charge of construction, transportation and infrastructure. The current minister is Goran Vesić, in office since 26 October 2022.

<i>Queen of the Sea</i> (ship) Tall ship

Queen of the Sea is a tall ship designed and used to train vocational school and university students in Croatia. Constructed in 2009, she is the first training ship built after Croatia declared independence from SFR Yugoslavia.

The Ministry of Communication and Traffic of Bosnia and Herzegovina is the governmental department which oversees the communication and traffic of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Hydrographic Institute of the Republic of Croatia is a government agency responsible for providing hydrographic and marine geospatial data for the Republic of Croatia. The institute is located in Split, and covers scientific research and development, services related to the safety of navigation, the hydrographic-geodetic survey of the Adriatic sea, marine geodesy, design and publication of nautical charts and books, oceanographic research, and submarine geology research. The Croatian Hydrographic Institute is responsible for the development of navigational safety service in the Adriatic, within the worldwide navigational safety system, and in cooperation with the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure, port authorities, the Croatian Navy, lighthouse authorities, and hydrographic offices of all maritime countries, following internationally agreed standards.
