Misery is the fourth single by American pop punk band Good Charlotte from their fourth album, Good Morning Revival (2007). The song was released as a single worldwide except for in North America where "Where Would We Be Now" was released as a single instead. A music video was not released.

Pop punk is a genre of rock music that combines influences of pop music with punk rock. Fast tempos, prominent electric guitars with distortion, and power chord changes are typically played under pop-influenced melodies and vocal styles with lighthearted lyrical themes including boredom, rebellion and teenage romance.

Good Charlotte is an American rock band from Waldorf, Maryland, that formed in 1996. Since 1998, the band's constant members have been vocalist Joel Madden, guitarist and vocalist Benji Madden, bassist Paul Thomas, guitarist and keyboardist Billy Martin, while drummer Dean Butterworth has been a member of the band since 2005. After a four-year-long hiatus, the band announced its comeback on November 3, 2015. <i>Good Morning Revival</i> 2007 studio album by Good Charlotte

Good Morning Revival is the fourth studio album by American rock band Good Charlotte and the follow-up to the 2004 release The Chronicles of Life and Death. It is the first album to feature Dean Butterworth on drums, who joined the band in March 2005 after former drummer Chris Wilson departed in 2005. Billy Martin has mentioned in an interview that Benji Madden came up with the name for the album. This style can be heard in the album's third single, "Dance Floor Anthem", which is the most successful song on the album by debuting at No. 2 on the Australian charts and reaching No.25 on the Billboard Hot 100. It is the final album by Good Charlotte to be released through Daylight Records; they subsequently signed a deal with Capitol.

On the band's episodes of GCTV, in which the band uploaded to their website a video containing behind the scenes footage from in the recording studio, photo shoots etc., different songs from Good Morning Revival were featured playing in the background. On the fifth episode, featuring Good Charlotte in Japan, "Misery" can be heard playing in the background of the video.

The song was released as a single unofficially in the beginning of November 2007 in Australia. [1] The official release dates are December 7, 2007 in Australia and December 17, 2007 in the UK. [2]

The song was used in promos and as the theme song to the 2008 AST Dew Tour.

Channel V Australia, stylized as Channel [V], was an Australian subscription television music channel that is available on Foxtel, Optus TV and Austar satellite and cable services. It was also previously available in New Zealand on TelstraSaturn's cable TV service in Wellington, Kapiti and Christchurch, until a channel shake-up occurred under new owners TelstraClear in 2002.

"Predictable" is the lead single from Good Charlotte's third studio album, The Chronicles of Life and Death. This was the first single released that featured Chris Wilson as the band's drummer. This is not to be confused with "The Anthem", which was the first video to feature Wilson. "Predictable" was released to radio on August 24, 2004.
