The Miss Bahamas 2010 pageant was held on May 6, 2010. This year only 18 candidates were competing for the national crown. The chosen winner will represent The Bahamas at the Miss Universe 2010 and Miss World 2010. The winner of best national costume, the costume will be use in Miss Universe 2010. The First Runner Up entered Miss Intercontinental and the Second Runner Up entered Miss Supranational. Braneka Bassett of East Grand Bahama emerged victorious at the end of the contest. Bassett was the first titleholder of the newly merged Miss Bahamas title. Prior to this edition Miss Bahamas World and Miss Bahamas Universe were separate contests but were merged when the Miss Bahamas Organization acquired the Miss Universe license after having the Miss World license for several years. This continue until 2013 when the Miss Bahamas Organization (MBO) restructured the pageant and separated them into two separate pageants. In the following two editions where the pageant was still merged, to winners were crowned, one for Miss Universe and the other for Miss World. MBO would keep them separate until after Miss Universe 2015 when they lost the Miss Universe license. Today they only have the license for Miss World.

Miss Venezuela is a national Beauty pageant held in Venezuela. It is preceded by two or three months of preliminary events, with the awarding of corporate prizes. The final televised competition generally lasts about four hours and is broadcast live across Latin America by Venevisión and produced by the networks parent company Cisneros Group, with edited versions to the United States and Mexico on the Univision and Telemundo networks. From 2013 to 2015, the national contest was split into two separate pageants: Miss Venezuela and Miss Venezuela Mundo. The pageant is also closely observed by other countries seeking to level competition due to its illustrious record of pageant victories. In 2016, the Venezuelan franchise for Miss Earth was awarded to Miss Earth Venezuela organized by National Directors Julio César Cruz and Alyz Henrich.

The 15th annual Nuestra Belleza México pageant, was held at the Arena Monterrey of Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico on September 20, 2008. Thirty-three contestants competed for the national title, which was won by Karla Carrillo from Jalisco, who later competed in Miss Universe 2009 in The Bahamas. Carrillo was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Elisa Nájera. She was the second Jalisciense to win this Title.

The Miss Bahamas 2012 pageant was held on July 30, 2012. Twenty candidates competed for the national crown. The chosen winner will represent The Bahamas at the Miss Universe 2012 and Miss International 2012 pageants. The costume of the winner of the best national costume award will be used at Miss Universe 2012. Miss World Bahamas will enter Miss World 2013. The First Runner Up entered Miss Intercontinental, the Second Runner Up entered Miss Supranational, and the Third Runner Up entered Top Model of the World. This is the last time Miss Bahamas World and Miss Bahamas Universe were held together in one Miss Bahamas pageant. After this, the Miss Bahamas Organization restructured the contest into two separate Miss Bahamas pageants, one to crown Miss Bahamas for Miss World and the other to crown Miss Bahamas for Miss Universe.
Angenie Anamaria Simon is a Curaçaoan model and beauty pageant titleholder who won the Miss Curaçao 2009 and went to the Miss Universe 2009 in The Bahamas, and the Miss World 2010 in Sanya, People's Republic of China. She earned a place in the national and regional pageant history records by being the first Miss Caraïbes Hibiscus winner who was crowned by a compatriot. Currently she is working as a Financial Assistant and she took in 2011 the challenge in partnering with national social entrepreneur and international youth ambassador Gwendell Mercelina Jr. for the Miss Caraïbes Hibiscus Curaçao pageant.

Miss Grand Bahamas is a Nassau-based female national beauty pageant, founded by Navado Dawkins in 2018. The contest's winner represents the Bahamas internationally on the Miss Grand International stage, which was held annually since 2013. Before 2018, the country representatives at the aforementioned international contest were either appointed or determined through other national pageants, such as Miss Universe Bahamas in 2016.
Miss Grand Bahamas 2018 was the inaugural edition of the Miss Grand Bahamas pageant, held at the Meliá Nassau Beach – All-Inclusive Resort, Nassau, on 1 July 2018. Seven contestants representing the country's seven island groups competed for the title. At the end of the event, the representative of New Providence, Dannise Bain, was announced the winner.
