Wizex is a Swedish dansband formed in Osby in 1973. It purchased the rights to the name from a band that started as Ulrik Wittmans Kvintett in 1957. When Ulrik Wittman left the band in 1963 they started to use the name Wizex. When read out the name sounds like "The Six of Us", "vi sex", in Swedish, and it was six persons left in the band when they changed the name. Today's band had six founders and was allowed to purchase the name, and hence use 1973 as the starting point.

Miss Decibel, written by Lasse Holm and Gert Lengstrand, is a song in Swedish, which finished 2nd at the Swedish Melodifestivalen 1978. It was performed by the Swedish "dansband" Wizex, back then including Kikki Danielsson as lead vocal singer, together with Lasse Holm. The song, which lyrical describes about a little singing-screaming girl and her parents who see her screaming abilities as an opportunity to become a singing star in the future, ends with a refrain in English including the words "Decibel, you gonna be a star".

My Wicked Twin are a Canadian hard rock band from Kitchener, Ontario that formed in 2008. They have their genesis in an earlier band called Brent Doerner's Decibel. Revamped as My Wicked Twin, they now consist of Brent Doerner of Helix and his twin brother Brian Doerner. Brent and Brian Doerner have been playing music together since the age of 8. My Wicked Twin's first album Decibel Music released 2016 with 9 songs. In 2018 the band released Twin Turbo with 8 songs. New in 2020 the band released 3 Engines with 10 songs.
