Miss World 2011, the 61st edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 6 November 2011 at the Earls Court Two in London, United Kingdom. As part of the events, the contestants also travelled to Edinburgh, Scotland between 23 and 27 October. Alexandria Mills of the United States crowned her successor Ivian Sarcos of Venezuela at the end of the event, she is the sixth Venezuelan woman to win Miss World - currently tied with India for the most wins in the competition's history. Although over 120 delegates were expected to compete, problems regarding the timely acquisition of visas prevented several candidates from participating, thus reducing the final number to 113. Miss World 2011 was viewed by over 1 billion people worldwide.

The 50th edition of Femina Miss India was held at Yash Raj Studios, Mumbai, on March 24, 2013. The show was telecast live on Colors. A total of 23 contestants competed in the beauty pageant. Navneet Kaur Dhillon of Punjab was crowned Femina Miss India World 2013 by the outgoing titleholder Vanya Mishra. Sobhita Dhulipala and Zoya Afroz were crowned the 1st and 2nd Runners Up respectively.

The 51st edition of the Femina Miss India beauty pageant was held on April 5, 2014 in Mumbai, India. Finalists had been selected in a previous round held in Bangalore in January 2014, with 24 women competing for the title of Miss India World. Koyal Rana from Delhi was crowned Femina Miss India 2014 by the previous year's winner Navneet Kaur Dhillon, while Jhataleka Malhotra and Gail Nicole Da Silva were crowned 1st and 2nd Runners Up respectively.

Miss India Worldwide 2013 was the 22nd edition of the international beauty pageant. The final was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on April 28, 2013. About 39 countries were represented in the pageant. Nehal Bhogaita of the United Kingdom was crowned as winner at the end of the event. Nehal was the first deaf contestant and first deaf winner in the pageant's history.

Miss India Worldwide 2009 was the 18th edition of the international beauty pageant. The final was held in Durban, South Africa on February 14, 2009. About 20 countries were represented in the pageant. Nikkitasha Marhawa of the United States was crowned as the winner at the end of the event.

Miss India Worldwide 2007 was the 16th edition of the international beauty pageant. The final was held in Fords, New Jersey, United States on April 8, 2007. About 19 countries were represented in the pageant. Fareisa Joemmanbaks of Suriname was crowned as the winner at the end of the event.

Miss India Worldwide 2006 was the 15th edition of the international beauty pageant. The final was held in Mumbai, India on January 28, 2006. About 21 countries were represented in the pageant. Trina Chakravarty of the United States was crowned as the winner at the end of the event.

Miss World 2015, the 65th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 19 December 2015 at the outdoor arena of the Crown of Beauty Theatre in Sanya, China. 114 contestants from all over the world competed for the crown. Rolene Strauss of South Africa crowned her successor Mireia Lalaguna of Spain at the end of the event. It was the first time in the history of Miss World that Spain won the pageant.

Vartika Singh crowned Adline Castelino as her successor and she represented India at Miss Universe 2020. Shefali Sood crowned Aavriti Choudhary as her successor and she represented India at Miss Supranational 2021. Miss Diva 2018 Runner up Roshni Sheoran crowned Neha Jaiswal as her successor. Anntonia Porsild, Miss Supranational 2019 graced the event. This was the first edition of Miss Diva under Liva Fluid Fashion.

Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, known professionally as Nimrit Ahluwalia, is an Indian actress who primarily works in Hindi television. Ahluwalia won Femina Miss Manipur (2018) and was among the top 12 of Femina Miss India 2018. She made her acting debut with Choti Sarrdaarni and is best known for her dual portrayal of Meher Kaur Dhillon and Seher Kaur Gill. Ahluwalia also participated in the reality show Bigg Boss 16.
