Pooja Chitgopekar

Pooja Chitgopekar represented India in the international Miss Earth 2007 beauty pageant on 11 November and would later become Miss Earth Air in 2007. Miss Earth Air is Miss Earth's equivalent for first runner-up. She went to one of the top private schools, Diocesan School For Girls in Auckland.

New Zealand at Miss World

New Zealand has contested 46 Miss World pageants since that pageant's inception in 1951. No New Zealander has won the Miss World title, although two have placed first runner-up.
