Miss USA 1966 was the 15th Miss USA pageant, televised live from Miami Beach, Florida, on May 21, 1966.

The pageant was won by Maria Remenyi of California, who was crowned by outgoing titleholder Sue Downey of Ohio. [1] Remenyi was the second woman from California to win the Miss USA title, and went on to Top 15 at Miss Universe 1966.

Idaho and South Dakota did not send a delegate in 1966, making this the last Miss USA pageant in which not all states were represented The only subsequent pageant with fewer than 51 delegates in the live telecast 1981 resulted from a state representative being disqualified during the preliminary judging.

Miss California USA is the beauty pageant that selects the representative for the state of California in the Miss USA pageant, and the name of the title held by that winner. The pageant is directed by Crown Diva Productions.

The Miss Louisiana USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Louisiana in the Miss USA pageant.

Miss Teen USA 1988, the 6th Miss Teen USA pageant, was televised live from San Bernardino, California on July 25, 1988. At the conclusion of the final competition, Mindy Duncan of Oregon was crowned by outgoing queen Kristi Addis of Mississippi.

Culpo represented the United States at Miss Universe 2012 six months later and went on to win the Miss Universe title, becoming the eighth American to do so.

Miss World USA 1968 was the 7th edition of the Miss World USA pageant and it was held in San Diego, California and was won by Johnine Leigh Avery of Washington. She was crowned by outgoing titleholder, Pamela Valari Pall of California. Avery went on to represent the United States at the Miss World 1968 Pageant in London later that year. She did not place at Miss World.
