Miss USA 1993 was the 42nd Miss USA pageant, televised live from the Century II Convention Center in Wichita, Kansas on February 19, 1993. At the conclusion of the final competition, Kenya Moore of Michigan was crowned by outgoing titleholder Shannon Marketic of California. Moore became the second Miss USA titleholder from Michigan and the second African-American winner ever. The pageant was held in Wichita, Kansas, for the fourth and last consecutive year, and was hosted by Dick Clark for the final time, with color commentary by Leeza Gibbons (also for the final time) and Courtney Gibbs, Miss USA 1988.

Contents

This was also the last time the State Costume competition took place and would not return until twenty-eight years later in 2021, under a different organization.

Miss USA is an American beauty pageant that has been held annually since 1952 to select the entrant from United States in the Miss Universe pageant. The Miss Universe Organization operated both pageants, as well as Miss Teen USA, until 2020, when the organization announced it was licensing operation of the Miss USA and Miss Teen USA pageants to Crystle Stewart, Miss USA for 2008 prior to her suspension in October 2022, thus returning the said pageants to the Miss Universe Organization. The pageants are now operated by Laylah Rose.

The Miss Michigan USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Michigan in the Miss USA pageant. It is currently directed by Proctor Productions.

Miss USA 2006 was the 55th Miss USA pageant, held at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland on April 21, 2006. Fifty-one state titleholders competed for the title, which was won by Tara Conner of Kentucky. Conner was crowned by outgoing titleholder Chelsea Cooley of North Carolina.

Miss Teen USA 1995, the 13th Miss Teen USA pageant, was televised live from the Century II Convention Center in Wichita, Kansas on 15 August 1995. At the conclusion of the final competition, Keylee Sue Sanders of Kansas was crowned by outgoing queen Shauna Gambill of California.

Miss Teen USA 1993, the 11th Miss Teen USA pageant, was televised live from the Mississippi Gulf Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, Mississippi on 10 August 1993.

Miss USA 1991 was the 40th anniversary of the Miss USA pageant, televised live from the Century II Convention Center in Wichita, Kansas on February 22, 1991. At the conclusion of the final competition, Kelli McCarty of Kansas was crowned by outgoing titleholder Carole Gist of Michigan. McCarty became the first titleholder from Kansas and only the third winner to be crowned as Miss USA in her home state.

Miss USA 1990 was the 39th Miss USA pageant, televised live from the Century II Convention Center in Wichita, Kansas on March 2, 1990. At the conclusion of the final competition, Carole Gist of Michigan was crowned by outgoing titleholder Gretchen Polhemus of Texas. Carole became the first African American winner ever and the first woman from Michigan to be crowned as Miss USA, ending the streak of "Texas Aces" from 1985.

Miss USA 1989 was the 38th Miss USA pageant, televised live from the Mobile Civic Center Theatre in Mobile, Alabama on February 28, 1989. At the conclusion of the final competition, Gretchen Polhemus of Texas was crowned by outgoing titleholder Courtney Gibbs. She was the fifth consecutive Miss Texas USA to win the pageant.

Miss World America 1994 was the 6th edition of the Miss World America pageant and was held in Veracruz, Mexico. The title was won by Kristie Harmon of Georgia. She was crowned by outgoing titleholder, Maribeth Brown of Massachusetts. Harmon went on to represent the United States at the Miss World 1994 Pageant in South Africa later that year. She did not place at Miss World.

Miss World USA 1977 was the 16th edition of the Miss World USA pageant, held in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The title was won by Cindy Darlene Miller of Virginia. She was crowned by outgoing titleholder, Kimberly Marre Foley of Michigan. Miller went on to represent the United States at the Miss World 1977 Pageant in London later that year. She finished as 4th runner-up at Miss World.

Miss World USA 1976 was the 15th edition of the Miss World USA pageant and it was held in Boston, Massachusetts and was won by Kimberly Marre Foley of Michigan. She was crowned by outgoing titleholder, Annelise Ilschenko of Ohio. Foley went on to represent the United States at the Miss World 1976 Pageant in London later that year. She did not place at Miss World.

Miss World USA 1974 was the 13th edition of the Miss World USA pageant and it was held in Binghamton, New York and was won by Terry Ann Browning of Florida. She was crowned by outgoing titleholder, Lexie H. Brockway of Washington. Browning went on to represent the United States at the Miss World 1974 Pageant in London later that year. She finished as 4th Runner-Up at Miss World.

Miss World USA 1969 was the 8th edition of the Miss World USA pageant and it was held in the Baltimore Civic Center in Baltimore, Maryland and was won by Gail Renshaw of Virginia. She was crowned by outgoing titleholder, Johnine Leigh Avery of Washington. Renshaw went on to represent the United States at the Miss World 1969 Pageant in London later that year. She finished as 1st Runner-Up at Miss World. After competing at Miss World, Renshaw resigned her title to get married. Renshaw was replaced by Connie Lee Haggard of Texas who was the 1st Runner-Up of Miss World USA.

Miss World USA 1968 was the 7th edition of the Miss World USA pageant and it was held in San Diego, California and was won by Johnine Leigh Avery of Washington. She was crowned by outgoing titleholder, Pamela Valari Pall of California. Avery went on to represent the United States at the Miss World 1968 Pageant in London later that year. She did not place at Miss World.
