Contents

Mix FM mainly broadcasts new and trending music. The station also broadcasts exclusive national and international shows in the morning, afternoon, and weekend nights.

Number one songs by year

These songs hit #1 on Mix FM's Top 100 Songs:

The station stopped producing its annual Top 100 Songs list after 2019 due to the cancellation of its live shows and a shift to automated programming. This operational change resulted in the discontinuation of the Top 100 Songs feature, which had been a significant part of Mix FM’s programming.

Shows and Programs

Mix FM has experienced significant management and scheduling challenges. The primary issue arose when the owner, who is also a DJ, shifted focus to his DJ career, which gained substantial prominence during the COVID-19 lockdown. This shift in focus led to the cancellation of all live and acquired shows on the station. Additionally, the station's traditional practice of having a host provide news and commentary between songs has also ceased, leaving the station to air only automated music without live presentation.

Consequently, the quality of the station's livestream deteriorated, and song names were removed from both the livestream and FM broadcasts. Furthermore, the station's promotional sweepers have not been updated since 2019.

As of summer 2024, the station has acquired the rights to four one-hour international shows, which are scheduled to air at night to cater to Lebanese listeners during social events.

Open House Party Radio show

Open House Party is an American radio show hosted by Kannon (Saturday) and Joe Breezy (Sunday), branded as "The Biggest Party on the Planet!", playing contemporary hit music. From its inception in September 1987, OHP quickly became popular with its live all-request format, along with a heavy rotation of dance music and remixes that differentiated itself from most Top 40 stations or shows. John Garabedian created and hosted both Saturday and Sunday nights for nearly 30 years. The show's audience and revenue peaked from the mid 1990s to late 2000s, where it was heard on over 175 stations and became the world's most-listened-to radio program on weekend nights. Since Garabedian's departure, the show has changed drastically in terms of presentation and production with less than 30 total affiliates. A key reason for OHP's decline is that it is no longer live, but instead, voice-tracked.
