Mladen Kapor (born 12 November 1966) is a Yugoslav swimmer. He competed in two events at the 1992 Summer Olympics. [1]

During the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain, athletes from Yugoslavia and Macedonia competed as independent Olympic participants. Macedonian athletes could not appear under their own flag because their NOC had not been formed. Yugoslavia was under United Nations sanctions which prevented the country from taking part in the Olympics. Individual Yugoslav athletes were allowed to take part as independent Olympic participants.

Barbara Krause is a former freestyle swimmer from East Germany. Krause was a three-time Olympic gold medalist and eight-time world record holder. At the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, Krause won gold medals in the 100 m and 200 m freestyle and in the 4×100 m freestyle relay.

Katalin Szőke Hungarian swimmer

Katalin Szőke was a Hungarian swimmer. She competed at the 1952 Olympics and won two gold medals, in the 100 m and 4 × 100 m freestyle events. Two years later she repeated that success at the 1954 European Championships. She also competed in these two events at the 1956 Olympics but without success. During her career Szőke set four world records. In 1985 she was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame.

Valéria Gyenge is a Hungarian swimmer who won the 400 m freestyle event at the 1952 Summer Olympics. She remained a leader in this event until 1956, but finished in a disappointing eighth place at the 1956 Olympics. In 1978, she was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame.
