Full name Mohammad Fanaei

Mohammad Fanaei (born 24 December 1951) is a former Iranian association football (soccer) referee. He was an assistant referee for the final of the 1994 FIFA World Cup between Brazil and Italy. [1] He also worked as an assistant referee at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona. [2]

He was subsequently an assistant referee in two matches during the 1995 King Fahd Cup (precursor competition to the FIFA Confederations Cup), including the Final between Denmark and Argentina. [3]

In 1994, he was named "Linesman of the Year" in the Asian Football Confederation. [4]

The 1992 King Fahd Cup, named after Fahd of Saudi Arabia, was the first association football tournament of the competition that would later be known as the FIFA Confederations Cup. It was hosted by Saudi Arabia in October 1992, and was won by Argentina, who beat the hosts Saudi Arabia 3–1 in the final. The 1992 tournament was the only one not to feature a group stage and only featured four nations.

The 1995 King Fahd Cup was the second and last tournament held under the King Fahd Cup name before the competition was retroactively sanctioned by FIFA and recognized as FIFA Confederations Cup. Disputed as the King Fahd Cup, in honor of the then Saudi ruler who organized the tournament with his country's federation, it was hosted by Saudi Arabia in January 1995. It was won by Denmark, who beat defending champions Argentina 2–0 in the final.

Fahad bin Al-Harifi bin Fahad Al-Husseini Al-Bishi is a former Saudi footballer who played for Al-Nassr FC and the Saudi Arabia national team. He represented his country at the 1994 FIFA World Cup.

It took place on 13 February 2015 at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and was contested between Al-Ahli and Al-Hilal. It was Al-Ahli's 12th Crown Prince Cup final and Al-Hilal's 15th final. This was the fourth meeting between these two clubs in the final Al-Hilal won all previous meetings.

The 2017 Saudi Crown Prince Cup Final was the 42nd and last final of the Crown Prince Cup. It took place on 10 March 2017 at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and was contested between Al-Ittihad and Al-Nassr. It was Al-Ittihad's 12th Crown Prince Cup final and first since 2007 and Al-Nassr's 7th final. This was the second meeting between these two clubs in the final with Al-Ittihad winning in 1991.
