Previously the anchor of an MSNBC weekday afternoon show, Ayman Mohyeldin Reports, he currently hosts Ayman on weekend evenings on MSNBC, and Fridays on Peacock. He previously worked for Al Jazeera and CNN. He was one of the first Western journalists allowed to enter and report on the handing over and trial of the deposed President of Iraq Saddam Hussein by the Iraqi Interim Government for crimes against humanity. Mohyeldin has also covered the 2008–09 Gaza War as well as the Arab Spring.
Idalys Ortiz Bocourt is a Cuban judoka. She competed in the over 78 kg division at the 2008, 2012 and 2016 Olympics and won a medal on each occasion. She won the silver medal in the women's +78 kg event at the 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan.

Among other achievements, Mostafa Mansour was the nation's first competitor in sprint canoeing while fencer Shaimaa El-Gammal became the first Egyptian female to appear in four editions of the Olympics.
Hussein Ammouta is a Moroccan professional football manager and former player. He previously played as a midfielder, and had spent his entire playing career in the Middle East and Africa. He competed in the 1992 Summer Olympics.

Samah Ramadan Mohamed is an Egyptian judoka, who played for the women's heavyweight category. She is a two-time Olympian, and a five-time medalist at the African Judo Championships. She also defeated Nigeria's Adijat Ayuba for the gold medal in the 78 kg class at the 2007 All-Africa Games in Algiers, Algeria.
Safia Abukar Hussein is a sprinter who competed internationally for Somalia. Hussein was the first Somali female to compete at the Olympics for her country when she competed in the 400 metres at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney.
Hussain Montassir was an Egyptian basketball player. He competed in the men's tournament at the 1948 Summer Olympics and the 1952 Summer Olympics.
Ali El-Hassani was an Egyptian footballer. He competed at the 1920 Summer Olympics, 1924 Summer Olympics and the 1928 Summer Olympics.
