The discography of Moments in Grace, an American alternative rock/post-hardcore band, includes one studio album, two extended plays, two singles and one music video. [1] [2] Under its original name, Postcard Audio, the band released an eponymous EP on compact disc in July 2002 through Computer Club Records. [3] [4] The band spent the next year writing its full-length album, Moonlight Survived , [5] but changed name to Moments in Grace in June 2003, shortly before it was recorded. [6] [7]

While still named Postcard Audio, the band attracted the attention of record producer and Atlantic Records A&R representative Brian McTernan, who formed his own Atlantic Records imprint, Salad Days Records, specifically to release the band's music. [8] [9] Moments in Grace was properly introduced with These Days Will Fade , a free digital EP released by Salad Days Records on December 12, 2003, [10] [11] and later re-issued on compact disc by Atlantic Records on March 23, 2004. [12] This was followed by a split 7-inch vinyl single with Funeral for a Friend, co-released by Atlantic Records, Salad Days Records, Mighty Atom Records and Infectious Records on April 20, 2004. On June 15, 2004, Atlantic Records and Salad Days Records released "Stratus" as a digital and compact disc single. [16] [8] [17] The band filmed a music video for the song two days later, [18] [19] which premiered on August 12, 2004, five days before Moonlight Survived was released. [20] [21] [22] [23] The band's only full-length album, Moonlight Survived , was released after considerable delay on August 17, 2004, on compact disc, double 12-inch vinyl and digitally through Atlantic Records and Salad Days Records. Hot Water Music is an American punk rock band formed in October 1994 and based in Gainesville, Florida. Since their formation, the group has consisted of Chuck Ragan and Chris Wollard on shared lead vocals and guitars, bass guitarist Jason Black, and drummer George Rebelo. Since 2017, the band has also included guitarist-vocalist Chris Cresswell. The band initially broke up in August 1998, but reformed by October 1998. A second breakup came in 2006 but the band has been active since 2008.

The Artist in the Ambulance is the third studio album by American rock band Thrice. It was released on July 22, 2003, through Island Records, becoming their first release on a major label. The band released their second studio album The Illusion of Safety in March 2002; by July of that year, they were writing material for their next album. Recording sessions were held with producer Brian McTernan at Bearsville Studios in Bearsville, New York; Salad Days Studios in Beltsville, Maryland; and Phase Studios in College Park, Maryland. The Artist in the Ambulance is a melodic hardcore and post-hardcore album that has been compared to the works of Blindside.

<i>Anthem</i> (Less Than Jake album) 2003 studio album by Less Than Jake

Anthem is the fifth studio album by American ska punk band Less Than Jake, released on May 20, 2003 on Sire Records, a Warner Bros. imprint. A year after their fourth studio album Borders & Boundaries (2000), the band had spent sometime at their practice space writing new material; by the middle of 2002, the band said their next album would be with Warner Bros. Records. Following a meeting with Rob Cavallo, he was enlisted as the producer for the album. Sessions were held at Piety Street Recording in New Orleans and Morning View Studio in Malibu, California, occurring between October and December 2002. Anthem is a pop-punk, pop rock and ska punk album that recalled the work of Good Charlotte and saw less emphasis on horn parts.

<i>The Fists of Time</i> 0000 EP by As Friends Rust

The Fists of Time is the debut extended play by American melodic hardcore band As Friends Rust. It was originally released by Belgian record label Good Life Recordings on July 13, 1998, on compact disc and 10" vinyl. American record label Doghouse Records reissued the release, under the expanded title The Fists of Time: An Anthology of Short Fiction and Non-Fiction, on compact disc, 12" vinyl and digitally, with new artwork and two additional songs, on June 22, 2000. In promotion of the release, As Friends Rust toured the United States, United Kingdom and Europe several times between June 1998 and September 2000. The bands that accompanied As Friends Rust on these tours include Discount, Dillinger Four, Strike Anywhere, Grade, Ensign, Ignite, Good Clean Fun, Garrison, Glasseater, Mid Carson July, The Agency, Purusam, Fast Times and Keith Welsh.

Damien Zev Moyal is an American vocalist, lyricist, musician, songwriter and designer. Originally from Amstelveen, North Holland, Netherlands, he moved to the United States as a child and grew up in Miami, Florida, where he notably fronted such hardcore punk, metallic hardcore and melodic hardcore bands as Shai Hulud, As Friends Rust, Morning Again, Culture, Bird of Ill Omen and Bridgeburne R. The Rocking Horse Winner was an American indie rock band based in Davie, Florida. The band was formed in mid-1999 by guitarist, keyboardist and backing vocalist Henry Olmino, bass guitarist Jeronimo Gomez, drummer, keyboardist and percussionist Matthew Crum and vocalist Jolie Lindholm. At various times, the band also included guitarist Oliver Chapoy, drummer Steve Kleisath and vocalist Kristen Lindholm. The band broke up in March 2003, though it was not announced publicly until May 2003.

Moments in Grace was an alternative rock/post-hardcore band from St. Augustine, Florida, active from December 2001 to March 2005. In its final days, the band relocated to Burbank, California and its line-up included principal songwriter, lead vocalist, guitarist and keyboardist Jeremy Griffith; bass guitarist, keyboardist and backing vocalist Jake Brown; drummer Timothy Kirkpatrick; and guitarist James Glayat. Earlier in its span, the band also included drummers Jason Frazier and Brandon Cook, guitarists Shane Gibson and TJ Stein, and guitarist, keyboardist and backing vocalist Justin Etheridge.

These Days Will Fade is an extended play by American alternative rock / post-hardcore band Moments in Grace. It is the band's second release, following Postcard Audio's eponymous extended play released in 2002, but the first to be released after changing name to Moments in Grace. The extended play was first released as a free download by American record label Salad Days Records on December 12, 2003. It was later re-issued digitally and on compact disc by Atlantic Records and Salad Days Records on March 23, 2004. The release includes the song "Stratus", which was later pushed as a single to radio stations in June 2004, and its music video to music television channels in August 2004.

Timothy James Kirkpatrick is an American drummer. Originally from Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, Kirkpatrick played in punk band Shaft and emotional hardcore bands Roosevelt and Burgundy in his teens. After moving to Gainesville, Florida in 1997, he joined metallic hardcore band Culture and melodic hardcore band As Friends Rust, both with vocalist Damien Moyal.

The original line-up recorded a demo in November 1996, but failing to secure a record deal, the band parted ways in February 1997. The song was the first and only single from the band's debut full-length album, Moonlight Survived. On June 21, 2004, the song reached No. 2 on CMJ New Music Report's Loud College Rock, No. 3 on Loud Rock Crucial Spins, and No. 14 on CMJ Top 200. The single helped Moonlight Survived peak to No. 13 on CMJ's Top 200 chart on August 30, 2004, and the album spent six weeks on CMJ's Radio 200 chart, peaking to No. 109 on October 11, 2004.

Horizon is the second album by American indie rock band The Rocking Horse Winner. It was released on April 30, 2002, by American record label Equal Vision Records on compact disc and digitally. American record label Friend Club Records licensed the rights to reissue the album on compact cassette on April 22, 2021. The album features the single "Miss You", for which a music video was produced with director Chris Irving and released on January 28, 2003. Horizon topped CMJ New Music Report's "Radio 200 Adds" chart as Most-Added Album on May 28, 2002, and reached No. 44 on the "CMJ Radio 200" chart on July 9, 2002.

Joseph Lee Simmons is an American guitarist, bass guitarist, songwriter and brewer. Originally from Houston, Texas, Simmons grew up in Coral Springs, Florida, where he notably played in the hardcore punk bands Dinner Time and Lock Down, the sludge metal band Bird of Ill Omen and the metallic hardcore band Morning Again. He later moved to Gainesville, Florida, where he played in the metallic hardcore bands Culture and Some Sort of Radio, the melodic hardcore band As Friends Rust, and the emotional hardcore / post-hardcore band Salem. He currently plays in the black metal band Rot in Coffins.
